What can I say....it is a really old building in a hotel parking lot that seems to be the unwanted step child. It is neglected and that is sad. It could be so much more with some repairs and attention to detail. The wine that is listed as complimentary is upon request. So, ask for it, they have it. It... More

This place disappointed me so much. It has so much potential with its history and big rooms. It could be a stunning boutique if it was only cared for properly. When we arrived and collected our keys we went over to the room to find it unchecked from the previous guest - unmade bed and towels all over the floor.... More

Traveled with my husband to Mystic CT for a weekend getaway to celebrate our Fifth Wedding Anniversary. In my opinion, I think it should be called Manor and not Mansion because the house is very small and in no way a Mansion ! We booked the 1st Fl Woodbridge Room. Check-in is at the lobby of the Marriott Residence Inn... More

This place has such character, the owners have really incorporated the old feel and kept up with the original features! It's such a unique experience to go, and to avoid the standard hotel room that every hotel has! As soon as you walk into the hotel, you have a completely different feel! You get you're own fireplace, whirlpool and the... More

The "mansion" is a step back in the 18th century. We stayed in Sarah's Parlor, a room on the 1st floor. The wide plank floors look like they could be original from 1776 (with some replacements), with little to no care other than a broom or vacuum. 4-poster very comfortable bed. A welcome bottle of wine and flat-screen TV awaited... More

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay. We wanted to stay in a historic hotel that was close to all the sights in Mystic. It sits on the ground of the Residence Inn by Marriott and that was where we checked in. The mansion itself has a small continental breakfast set up daily, but we could get... More

A night's stay at Whitehall Mansion was just what we needed to getaway. No brand standards here! Simple but luxurious feeling rooms with a fireplace and spa tub. Perfect. We greatly appreciated the Wine and Cheese and although we didn't take advantage of the Breakfast Buffet at the Residence Inn next door, it was very cool that we could have.... More

We originally booked this Inn as it was priced very well and close to Mohegan where we were going to see a concert. Upon check in there was a bottle of wine waiting in our room, a cheese and cracker plate in the main downstairs from our room and the front desk called to make sure everything was to our... More

When we first booked online we weren't expecting ultra modern and fancy. It looked so quaint and cozy. A wonderful chance to get away from it all. What we got was an ultra dusty, somewhat dirty neglected room called Lucy's Parlour. My lip balm dropped on the floor and rolled underneath the bed. What greeted me when I went to look... More

One of the most interesting hotels I have ever stayed in. It's an old house near a marriot, where you can check in and get your breakfast. But the room is big, has a lot of charme and you even get your own fireplace (with a log) whine and there is even a nice place downstairs with another fireplace where... More
