What is obviously a cheap design and construction, this motel could be adequate if it were managed properly, but unfortunately it's not. I'm surprised the motel chain to which this belongs puts its name to it. a quiet place. close to Waterford hotel and shopping centre up the road with supermarket and other variety shops up the road heaps of parking up the back. space rooms and clean and tidy bathrooms. interesting architecture

Stayed here a year ago, as have a family member to visit as this is closest motel to there area. we were wrapped to see rooms have been updated new kettle new microwave we asked for room up stairs and its a bigger room even has a kitchen sink so if staying a while ask for upstairs as you dont have all the people walking past as most rooms lower level we enjoyed our stay and will stay here again next year we were here for 4 nights and it was overva weekend as well and we had no noise nice and quiet for us ...great place to eat pub near shopping centre called the club has been done up inside and cheap meals went there 3 times.also behind shoppind centre is a great lake to walk and see birds and lots of childresns play things we enjoyed our stay at Econo Lodge Waterford

Booked 2 nights prior to arriving I emailed a few times to ask then if we could check in a bit earlier they obviously do not pay attention to emails so when we arrived our room was not ready but that was ok....the room small ...the bed queen size but lumpy with protruding springs very cheap quality....very basic facilities....clean not really bathroom no ventilation so smelly and slimy....first night a fight broke out between other guest...gives you an indication of the type of people that book this motel....and cigarette smoke as well as other smoke from funny cigarettes as soon as you walk out the door of a evening....we didn't feel safe.....it is cheap for a reason......so we will not be back....

Motel was clean and tidy, bit expensive for what you got and the location it was in. Lots of yelling by others staying in the motel through the middle of the night which was quite frightening. Close to shops easy walking distance.
