The Dolly is now under new management. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in!!! The place looks great. They put in a whole new bar. Feels like old times again...so happy that it's back!!! Also back are some of the old Dolly crew as well. Feels good to be home again!!!

If you haven't tried it, the Dolly Salad is the absolute best. Chicken, goodies and fresh veggies, wonderful homemade dressing. Don't miss this........but all the food here is excellent! If you need to do some business, internet is available. This is my office/dining away from home.

While in the area on business, we wanted to get away to find a cozy place for some good food and local flair. This was the perfect stop - the people were friendly and we felt right at home. Service was wonderful and the food was over the top. If only we were staying longer, we would go back.

Our Family recently stayed at "The Dolly" as we found our stay quite charming at this quaint rather historic old world style type Inn by the beach. The people were very receptive, family oriented and accommodating to our needs. Our room was clean, sanitized bathrooms and with fresh linens. The meals were hearty and tasty. The wait staff had a...

My family and I went to the Dolly Madison today to celebrate both Mothers Day and my birthday. I had not been to this restaurant in about 30 years. I have to say that we had a wonderful meal. We say outside on this beautiful day and totally enjoyed our meal. I can tell you that it will not be...

As a "steak man" I have been dismayed with the quality, portion size, and price of a steak dinner at many restaurants in southern Connecticut. While some restaurants are charging $40 for a 6 oz steak, the Dolly Madison serves up a 16 oz steak at considerably less price. Ate there again this weekend and the steak was cooked perfectly,...

My husband and I were on a weekend getaway. I grew up in CT and had moved away and not been back for about 17 years for a minivacation. We were traveling along the coast and looking for a place to enjoy some seafood in a quiet off the beaten path location. We happened about Dolly's on our way to...

The other reviews are right. This place is dirty and disgusting and a complete rip off. I dont care about the location. It was downright gross. My husband woke up to the ceiling leaking on his head. There was a used condom wrapper in the nightstand. And there was stubble all over the bathroom sink--not from my husband. It clearly...

If you want a nice small Beach within walking distance, friendly bar, good food, and a place to sleep,,, you will find this a perfect spot.. We recently had to attend a family funeral and wanted to spend the night close by. Dolly's had room available, but with all the bad reviews, I was very skeptical. The room was clean,...

Without question the WORST place I've ever stayed or eaten. It's dirty, unmaintained and bug infested. Madison is a lovely, wonderful town, but avoid this hovel at all cost! The food is worse.
