This is a quaint and pretty New England property, which is why we choose it when visiting the Hartford area. Value for the stay was great - clean rooms and very good complimentary breakfast. Three disappointments, which were annoying to deal with: first, the website advertised four-poster beds, but we had to ask for a different room to get that....

The Hotel staff greeted us warmly and efficiently. The room was clean, large and nicely appointed. We stayed in a suite so we had extra space if necessary and we really enjoyed it. I would recommend this hotel.

Very pleasant inn and the southern edge of New England. Cookies and coffee in the lobby a nice touch. The four poster bed really sets the old New England mood. Reasonable price and plenty of shopping nearby, and don't miss the lobster ravioli's in the restaurant next store.

Hubby and I needed a place to stay for one night following a Saturday evening wedding in West Hartford and landed an excellent choice with this find. Our stay included pet friendly and we were pleasantly surprised to find the inn's property lightly wooded border perfect for walking our pup. The sidewalk neighborhood on Garden Street also was an appreciated...

What a great place to end your day after a particularly challenging day. The area is well lit. I felt safe. The lobby is beautiful, nicely decorated and absolutely inviting. The hotel was clean. My room was to die for, spacious, comfy king size bed, huge bathroom, nice sitting area, air quality was perfect and television was working (all channels)....

Was visiting Farmington to see some historic family lands, and was hoping to get away from the normal hotel experience by staying at this Inn. Let me start by saying that the staff was exceptional, and the room was very nice, with nice four poster beds. And the neighborhood was everything that we could hope for. We couldn't wait to...

We stayed here for several days while preparing a relative's funeral. They take dogs!!! Four of us stayed here, all adults (plus the dog!) . Rooms were very New England pretty and spotlessly clean. Wifi was good and there is a business center for printing.Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very nice.

My wife and I stayed at the inn last month. The staff were very pleasant, the room was huge and spotless. The breakfast buffet was quite good although they had run out of scrambled eggs. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stay there

My wife uses this hotel on a monthly basis for business. She has felt very welcome every time she has stayed here--some of the staff recognize her now. The hotel is in a very good location if you want to go to Hartford and is close to some great restaurants/food establishments. The hotel is a bit older, but what you...
