If you can, keep traveling on further. This campsite is far too overcrowded. The owners are doubling profits by selling nightly sites on the proviso that you leave space for another tent/ camper van on a site that normally would only fit one tent/vehicle. If it is school holidays or weekend your tent cords will definitely over run each other....

Stayed here twice while on a childrens charity drive to Italy. Our group asked for directions to a local store to buy food for the group but was told to take sausages and rice from the camp site hostess with no mention of cost. We should have thought twice as she was obviously intoxicated. Upon check out we were told...

Quite a small site on the Rhine with good facilities for children, table tennis, table football, outdoor pool with slide, park and giant chess. American hostess and Swiss host, friendly and helpful, food at restaurant good.

We only went there for the night. Staff is helpful and friendly. The Swiss-American hosts are welcoming and the chef can cook. I had a meaty cheeseburger and my wife ordered the fish and chips. A pleasant stay indeed at a venue worth a recommendation.

This is a good wee campsite, right on the River Rhine. Easy to find - just head into Augst from the motorway and follow the signs. There's plenty of space to pitch a tent, although once you've done so you have to park your car in a car park 100 metres up the road. The town is very quiet, though,...
