We stayed at the Puncak in August. From the moment we arrived the owner and his team Budy and Superdan were faultless. Very attentive and helpful. The grounds, the views, the pool, the sunsets…just amazing. It’s incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax. The breakfasts were lovely, fresh and delicious. Huge portions. Might be nice to have a lighter option, I felt guilty when I couldn’t finish it. We would definitely recommend The Puncak to anyone visiting Lombok. The only teeny tiny criticism would be the fridge in the room buzzed quite loudly and being a light sleeper I used earplugs.

The Puncak has only 5 rooms. The owners (Jean-Paul and Nury) are super friendly, and are likely to stop you for a chat. You won't feel invisible here, so if that's what you want, this might not be for you. The rooms are great, and the views are spectacular. I can recommend their breakfast, which is pretty big and has lots variety. The omelette in particular was delicious - thanks Nury! Guests should note that Google Maps doesn't seem to have the right entrance at the time of writing (Sept 2023) - Image attached shows correct entrance. It's also not super well signposted as the road around the back was recently built, so traffic now typically comes from the opposite direction than originally intended.

We have a very happy 3-night stay at this well appointed villa in a superb location overlooking the Senggigi bay of Lombok island. This place is a true honeymooners' paradise. Jean-Paul and Nury are very kind and passionate about running this small boutigue hotel. Though not in a walking distance to the beach, it's still convenient to hire a private taxi to get around the area at reasonable price. There are many good spots along the coastal drive where you can stop and take panoramic pictures of various beaches. I highly recommend spending time at Nipah beach less than half an hour away.

We loved our stay at The Puncak so much! If we come back to Lombok, there’s no question we would stay again. Jean-Paul was very welcoming and so helpful. He organized our airport pick up and a full day tour of Tetebatu. The food was all delicious and you can’t beat the views. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a quiet relaxing hotel, but easy access into town.

From the moment we arrived, Jean made us feel welcomed and at ease. He took care of every request we had (and we had quite a few of them). It’s easy to get to the main Senggigi stretch for a massage/meal too (just get a Grab or Gojek). Will recommend The Puncak if you are looking for a relaxed, quiet, tropical getaway.

A big shout out to JP and Nuri. We stayed at The Puncak back in February, just before Covid started to become a thing here in Asia. Sorry it has been so long in posting a review, life got in the way! The week we spent at the Puncak was amazing, we really cannot recommend this place enough. The views, atmosphere, service and accommodation are all of the highest order. We had a fantastic time and hope JP, Nuri and The Puncak are al well in these uncertain times.

Thanks JP & Nuri for a wonder full stay over this year‘s Christmas period. The Puncak is truly to be recommended and the proactive service and care does go over and beyond expectations. Highly recommend this small boutique villa up in the hill for a stay to unwind and relax. Highly recommend also booking some local trips across the island... the bicycle tour organized via their partner was exceptional. The Puncak also offers dinner with a small menu and fantastic tasty food prepared by the owners themselves. Do ask for the Beef Rendang! Thanks for everything and see you again soon!

My wife and I spent three nights at The Puncak (which, not surprisingly, means 'The Summit' in Bahasa). It is indeed located near the top of a steep hill overlooking the water—some taxi drivers seemed to need a little coaxing to take their vehicles all the way. The owners Jean-Paul and Nury built The Puncak as a labor of love, and just imagining all the work they put in is staggering. We ended up being the only guests during our stay, so the quiet location was made even more quiet. Upon arrival our bed frame was covered in dozens of fresh flowers from outside, and each morning we were served a sumptuous breakfast of eggs, yogurt, fruits, and more outside our room. The room itself was very spacious—but unfortunately that meant the AC unit struggled to cool the air, making the nights fairly warm. Location-wise you're about an hour from the airport, 10min from the restaurants of Senggigi, and 30min from Bangsal, where you can catch boats to the Gilis. Aside from relaxing in the infinity pool, there's not much to do here on the grounds. If you're looking for an affordable, secluded base for Lombok lounging, this is it!…

Senggigi is indeed very good situated with an extraordinary beautiful West Coast with incredible ocean views to Bali, fantastic greenery with plenty of Coconut trees and Hills and Mountains beside the beaches. After having carefully checked the AC during your stay, with the option to switch to another room just beside, we have found no dysfunction. Just using the remote in the correct way is the key of the solution for having a fresh condition in the room :-) The technical side, AC.S, Internet, Power, Water supply is regularly checked by our technicians :-) (we are situated near the top of a hill within an extreme location) Indeed we are trying to propose the most affordable rates with a quality above quantity standard.
