This was a very clean and well kept location. The kitchen and refer in the room allowed us to do some cooking in the room. The boys really enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna.
The exterior and the grounds are kept very well and attractive....More
An old hotel but nicely kept up. Rooms have a mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. In addition, lotion, shampoo, etc are provided as is a hairdryer. Mattresses are very comfy. Corner rooms are large with many windows. Lighting is a bit on the dull...More
Our room was not super fancy although we had a fireplace as well as a kitchenette. It was a clean hotel. The outdoor pool was rather cold. The hot tub was wonderful though! The motel was clean and comfortable! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Check in was easy and quick. Advised restaurant and bar not open until winter - bit disappointing. Room was good size with kitchen, fireplace and all amentities. Had swim in outdoor pool then spa in large hot tub which was great. Took free gondola into...More

Hi Mark, Unfortunately it is not free unless you rent your equipment from Winter Park rentals. You can rent a ski locker at the base and it is $16 day or $24 day/overnight and they hold up to 4 pairs of skis/poles or 3 snowboards. The other option is at the tune shop you can store your skis/poles for $7 overnight but that is just one pair. They do have wagons at the bottom of the Cabriolet to haul your equipment in to take over to ski area if you don't want to carry which makes it much easier especially for skiers. Hope this helps. When I was there last summer, none of the restaurants or bars were open on site. There was only access to convenience-type snacks sold through the front desk. Nothing available for morning or later evening before/after restaurants open/close. There are coffee makers and small refrigerators in the room to store your own items.
Many good restaurants are accessible by the cabriolet lift (about 10 min) to the mountain base area from about 7 am until about 8 pm.
