We love this resort and was our second visit. The resort was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the atmosphere was festive and fun. The room we had was a king suite and we loved the view of the mountains with snow . I love the bathroom with a large tub and separate shower. The breakfast brunch was very good with lots...

Really nice marriott, nice rooms, great service. They have people to carry your skis to the lifts, excellent staff. Really a top Marriott hotel. Get a room with a fireplace and facing the mountain if you can

Had a wonderful long weekend after the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff at the Marriott Vail were fantastic and very friendly. The room was nice and clean. The location is fabulous and an easy walk to mid Vail and shopping. For the price - this hotel was a excellent value.

Very convenient location to the Lionshead base area, nice overall rooms especially in the off season when you can get a decent rate... a little on the pretentious side (kind of goes with the Vail 'attitude') but still a nice place to stay, especially if you have some 'status'. However, Marriott seems to think everyone is dumb enough to pay...

Had a great stay here. ....yes, the hotel shows her age (9ft ceilings), but the Marriott continues to be an exceptional value. The location is great, 4 minute walk to the lift and they offer ski vallet which includes drying and warming your boots, filtered water near the elevators for rapid water bottle refill, room humidifiers for skied out skin...

We stayed here 8-10 Nov which is the downtime between summer and winter. This had the benefit of very few people and for Vail it was serene. Because it is between seasons the dining room is closed. Many of the local restaurants are also closed so a little planning is needed. The staff is attentive and quick to resolve any...

Spent two days at the Vail Marriott to celebrate my wife's birthday. The hotel is at the far western edge of Lionshead and a good 15-20 minute walk to Vail Village. Had to "pay" for wifi via the resort fee even though my wife is Marriott Gold and wifi is free at that level. Free breakfast for Gold members not...

You know, this is the type of hotel that keeps Marriott from being elite. Nothing terrible, nothing special... We went in the mud season, early June. The hotel is a little tired and needs an update. We stayed a week and were a little disappointed in the quality of our room... I spend about 125 nights a year in a...

You're in vail...so how bad can things be. Well, when you think of Vail you often have high expectations about the quality you will receive from establishments that serve it. The Mariott Resort & Spa is tired. It's dark and antiquated...an 80s refurb from the look of it. The rooms are clean (including the corners in the bathroom), but very...

My wife and I chose this resort for our Honeymoon. We had an absolute blast. If you're looking for a destination with easy access to all of the Vail Mountain activities, this one is right in the middle of it all. Our 1 bedroom Condo was beautiful. Our balcony was very long which had THREE sliding glass doors accessing it...
