Huge hotel. Rooms small but so comfy, you could spend your life in one. Food is very nice. All price ranges. Sunday buffet, ahhh!, you may not get up from your table and go anywhere. Nice staff. Transports you to Europe!

My company hosted a conference at the Sonnenalp and I could not have gone better. The service was amazing from the room service, valet parking, conference setup, lunch during the conference and the evening service from the restaurant. My bed was so comfy and cozy and the rooms were extremely roomy! I will definately stay there again the next time...

I stayed at the Sonnenalp during the off-season for a business meeting. The staff was exceptional and the room exceeded my expectations - the bath tub was a highlight as I arrived after traveling by car, driving overnight from the midwest. I look forward to staying there again next year for our meeting. Everything reminded me of Bavaria - very...

My son and I stayed at Sonnenalp at a very in-between time, the beginning of May, for a long weekend. The hotel was lovely; very unique and cozy, not your standard room furnishings and atmosphere. We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor heated pool and saunas as well as the beautiful spa with a lounging pit surrounding a fire. It was a very...

Landed here on a long tour of the US and despite the plastic Toytown that is Vail I enjoyed my stay but not at the $18 parking fee! The fee is normal twittered the receptionist not in the previous 18 hostelries Id stayed in. Room well appointed but very poorly lit difficult to work in. If you like sliding down...

We arrived on the last day of ski season. On Check in, we were advised that we had been upgraded. Our room was a fabulous suite. That really enhanced our stay. The service in Ludwigs was its usual fabulous self. We also experienced great service at the Bully Ranch. The service provided by the entire staff was without equal at...

I don't even want to try any other Vail hotels. My wife and I have stayed here twice. Our first visit was just perfect and I assumed that it could not be matched. I was wrong. Our most recent visit in May was even more enjoyable and the rooms and service both beyond our expectations. The owner says that he...

Amazing service with beautiful luxurious rooms. Best hotel for a small conference. All the rooms have radiant heat in the bathrooms, often with huge jacuzzi tubs and separate showers. Beautiful French balconies and 3 great restaurants. Walking distance to slopes and everything in Vail.

This hotel is simply my favorite Vail hotel. It's character, service, and location are simply the best. It's golf course is quite stunning (when I played on it last year) and its Vail facilities are excellent. I have no complaints. None. That's very rare. If I could live in a hotel, I would live here. And, of course I would...

from the valets to the breakfast servers, this hotel makes you feel welcome with sincere, excellent service. Rooms are spacious and appointed with nice amenities- I always forget how much I love turn down service . Ate at both the bully ranch and extensive hotel breakfast buffet and enjoyed both . Forget about the 5 star chains and enjoy this...
