One leg of our Colorado trip was a three night stay in Vail. The Vail Cascade Resort & Spa was a fabulous place. The staff and accommodations were first class. Although it is primarily a ski resort, we found plenty to do in July. Close to two major shopping venues and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

Dear 749TA, Many travelers recognize Vail for the winter, but our summer is equally enjoyable (and some would argue it’s the best season) – we’re glad you discovered it! Thank you for selecting Vail Cascade for your stop in Colorado. We hope you return this winter. If you’re a skier, you’ll want to take advantage of our onsite chairlift….you’ll be...

We stayed for a Sat-Mon for my fiances 30th b-day and the staff had strawberries and champagne(complimentary) waiting for her. Great touch! The hot-tub along the creek, at night with the fire, was amazing! The resort itself, seemed a little old, but has done a great job keeping up. We were greeted by a very friendly staff, and really enjoyed...

Our family went in the off season and enjoyed great service and had lots of fun at the pool, including making smores in the fire pit. Breakfast was nice, and the buffet offered an omelet upgrade for $4. Room was clean and comfortable, though somewhat dated on décor.

Let me start by saying the front desk staff is outstanding. They were very responsive and helpful and that goes a long way. I found my room though to be in need of refreshing. The room just seemed worn - it was certainly acceptable but not top notch. The refrigerator wasn't working and I was in a room where I...

Dear Drumtale, Thank you for your constructive feedback. We appreciate hearing from all our guests and are pleased you shared your experience with us. As for your comments pertaining to the resort itself, we are definitely not the shiniest or newest property in Vail, however, we are constantly making improvements to ensure our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay....

We had a two night stay here recently and I can't say enough about the service and the hotel itself. The front desk clerk (Adam) was exceptionally friendly and helpful with our questions about the area. The Concierge desk had excellent restaurant recommendations. The hotel sits on the river with beautiful views of the mountainside and fall colors. I hated...

A wonderful property that is walking distance to great restaurants and all activities. You can even fly fish in the river behind the hotel! Try the buffet breakfast, awesome! The rooms are roomy, comfortable, quiet, and well appointed. Nice pool, health club, and hot tubs. A great hotel, I can't wait to try it during ski season!

The best part of the Vail Cascade during ski season is its ski shop. You can store your ski gear in the shop. In the morning, walk to the ski shop, put on your ski boots, which are stored in the shop and heated. The attendants bring your skis outside the shop where you put them on, hope on the...
