Perfect place, perfect location, perfect cabins, both in summer and winter, perfect service. The meal plan is also a great deal and the food is very good. Been there twice and plan to go a lot more. Also, Annapolis Royal is a short drive away.

This is a very unique property that offers large rustic cottages that sit on the lake and also a main lodge. If you love the outdoors this is a great place to visit to experience it particularly during the beautiful fall season. The meals in the main lodge are excellent!

My girlfriend and I spent Canada Day weekend at Milford house, our first time there. We have stayed at lots of cottages/campgrounds around Nova Scotia and this is one of the best experiences we have had! Supposed to go with a group but ended up just being the 2 of us. We thought we would be bored as 2 twenty...

This is an old time resort in rural Nova Scotia. Generations of families have been summering here for years. The cabins are in the woods but with lake views and easy access. They are rustic but with running water and electricity. To me, they are absolutely charming in that "just rustic enough" way. Breakfast (excellent) and dinner (not fancy or...

Thanks for all your kind words. Milford House has been in operation for well over 100 years, and we have a rich history of offering old fashioned hospitality to guests from all over. Sorry the vegetarian menu options werent up to par, we do have different entrees we offer on different days, and we do in fact offer vegan choices...

This Lodge/ cabin resort is excellent for relaxing and provides delicious home style meals. However the cabins are RUSTIC and may not appeal to all. Our family find the facilities to be fine and we enjoy the relaxing friendly atmosphere very much?

I stayed at Milford House most recently with my wife, two parents and my sister and brother-in-law. We stayed in Beaver Cabin. It was amazing. My wife has many allergies, they were very accommodating. For how wonderful a place it was, how good the service was, and how easy it was to just jump right in the lake, I felt...

Best place to get away and enjoy the outside with fishing boating and your front door opening up to the water. My favorite part by far was the dining, their dining is the best I've ever had at a resort

5th time back and deserving of another. We booked the Loon cabin for the additional space to accommodate a grandson, his mother and dad. We were greatly impressed by the size, the cleanliness of the cabin, the availability of a few board games ready for us to play which we did. We learned to play the game "Sorry" again!" The...

We've stayed at Milford House about 7 or 8 times over the years. On a recent Friday when the temperature started to soar we decided to take the day off and luckily for us, Milford had a cabin available. This spot is the very best in rustic retreats. Two lovely lakes, all cabins with water-frontage, and a beautiful (new) main...

Milford House is a special place. If you want a slice of Nova Scotia's natural beauty, visit this rustic retreat. Every cabin has a deck and a dock, overlooking a lovely lake. You can canoe for an hour or spend your stay exploring lake after lake. Our family had two canoes and we found our own private beach along the...
