The rooms were very clean. They had everything you needed. Kitchen, utensils, pots, pans, plates, etc... Grill is also available for use. We were able to cook every meal. The staff was exceptional. Would definitely recommend. We'll be staying here every time we visit Salida.

I stayed in room with 1 queen bed. OK for one or 2 nights but a little tight. Very clean close to downtown and off the main highway so quiet. They are pet friendly and there is nice trail across street by river for walks.

Great location, close to downtown Salida. Very friendly owner and staff. Upper floor or ground floor with no rooms above are recommended. Reasonable cost. Older property, but well maintained. Parking is provided. No elevator.

An old motel in the north end of Salida, yet minutes from the downtown area. This motel was a great find .... reasonably priced, refurbished to brand new condition, no extra fee for pets and our dog loved the complimentary dog bed/pillow! We enthusiastically recommend this place!

This was 2nd stay at the Woodland, one of the finest small motels ever, and not part of any big chain. I will come back here for sure (I so enjoy this area of Colorado.) The rooms are impeccable, with cleanliness and orderliness to the Nth degree!! A real gem on a quiet edge of town, just minutes away, walking...

Our room was very clean and the staff was over the top nice and friendly. This motel is walking distance to Salida's downtown area so the location is primo. It's very quiet and it's nice to support a mom and pop extablishment instead of the big chains. Would stay here again.

We have stayed at the chain hotels out by the hotel when coming to Salida, but this time around we had a chance to stay at the woodland through a recommendation from a friend. We stayed in the 2 bedroom condo. It was very roomy, quiet, the beds were comfy, the kitchen was fully equipped, internet was quick and the...

This was our second stay at the Woodland. We love the Woodland! While the hotel is older we've found everything very clean and very well maintained. We spent one of our stays in a room with a kitchenette that was adequately stocked with kitchen utensils, cookware and dishes. Stove and refrigerator were very clean and worked well. Located well away...
