Detailed Reviews
We live locally and needed to move out for a week while our floors were being sanded. We were pleasantly surprised by Valuesuites. Our room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and it’s in a convenient location. There are a few nice places to eat within walking distance. The windows are double glazed so keeps the noise out. They even give you free laundry powder which is a nice touch. Would happily stay again when we have more renovations done.

We stayed here for 8 very enjoyable days and could not believe the value. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean, had double glazing and excellent air conditioning. The Emu Plains railway station was an easy 10 minute walk away and there were several good restaurants nearby. We will return!

This was perfect for me as I needed to be close by to the hospital, which is a ten minute drive away. Close to local eateries and the train station too. My room overlooked the car park away from the train track and train noise was hardly noticeable. The only real noise came from my hotel neighbours and it appears a lot of workers use the suites on a regular basis. I still slept very well. The bedding was very comfortable. The room was clean and spacious, the amenities very good and the staff friendly and approachable. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay in this property. No frills like pool or gym but it has clean and well equipped rooms. We stayed in a Twin Suite which had a small kitchenette ( microwave only ) but everything else like kettle , toaster, chopping boards, daily supplies of milk, coffee etc. has. small fridge that able us to store our week's worth of food. More importantly, we felt safe as you cannot just go from one building to another and the property is gated. Plenty of parking space and there is also a bbq area facility. During our stay there were a lot of families too.
The location is about 100m from Emu Plains Train Station. About the same walking distance to Emu Pub which is cleaned and looked like freshly renovated. Food servings were huge. The property is also close to Emu Hall which offers amazing cocktails and food , and cross that bridge is the Log Cabin. And around the corner is the scrumptious Spaghetti Eddie's. Regional Art Gallery is not that far off as well. Westfield is a km drive away.
Lastly, the staff were attentive to our needs and helped us anyway they can.
If there is anything I can point out is perhaps the bed we had was a little too soft for my liking.

Little to complain about except the design of the building and rooms. Like many newer buildings, too much space has been saved by narrowing doors and corridors. But most mysterious of all is the extermely cramped bathroom. It could easily be two feet wider and you would still have plenty of space in the room itself. As it is you can not even dry yourself after a shower. Further there is a noise insulation problem - not from the train at all, you can't hear that, but the adjouning room. Can clearly hear my neighbour clearing their throat through the double adjoining door, very uncomfortable. Also too much noise coming in through the corridor even though everything has the appearance of being solid. Noise and space are pretty major issues, minus two stars to an otherwise good stay.

Clean well equipped rooms and very helpful staff.. plenty of parking. The bed is a little low and I hate foam pillows but it’s cheap and very usable.
Just DON’T have a room facing the rail track it is incredibly noisy and you will be woken by every passing train all through the night.

After my stay and review in 2019, I returned this year, and am glad I chose to stay here again.
The room was clean, spacious and well set out. I still had ample room to set up my laptop & work from the main table with power points close by.
The office staff were great, and check-in was a breeze.
There is plenty of outside parking within the fenced area which is locked after hours.
A short walk to nearby restaurants, take-away options, and even a gym. A 2-minute drive will see you down at a Woolworths and Aldi.
I would recommend staying here again.

This hotel has it all. Stayed after attending the Panthers vs Roosters game and glad we did. Travelled from Canberra to Gold Coast, Sydney, and then back to Canberra and this hotel was so far ahead of the rest. Paid much more at others and got far less. Room was modern, clean, and had everything anyone could as for. Staff were attentive and so friendly. Just the kind of people you want to employ. They cared and you could tell. Hats off to you all. See you next time we are in town.

We stayed for 11 nights in November and found the accommodation to be clean and comfortable, this partly being down to the fact of the property being new; let's hope they keep the standards up & keep it well maintained. We booked it for it's value & it didn't disappoint, the room having a combination microwave, toaster, kettle & a full size fridge with ice box, dining table & a comfortable bed. The lady on reception is one of the friendliest people you could wish to meet, a cheery welcome greets you & she always acknowledged us during our stay.
There are some shops within reasonable walking distance but we tended to catch the train into Penrith to go to the shopping precinct there, much greater choice & only a 5 minute journey. The local station is only at the end of the road, but this means the train tracks are at the rear of the premises so if you need a quiet night you will need to request a room at the front; this didn't bother me as I live on a busy main street at home. The only other negatives at the moment are the lack of wifi and the area around the car park could do with some tidying & landscaping. The wifi is in the process of being sorted & I can only assume that the outside will be sorted over time; this would make an excellent area in the summer months to sit if turfed & some benches were put out.
Overall the Value Suites are very good & if the couple of small negatives are addressed they will be excellent. But don't let them put you off staying, I would definitely use them again if in the area, they should be at the top of anyone's list of accommodation.
