WOW... Pictures and words aren't enough to capture the absolute heaven of Utopia. We knew it was going to be beautiful, but were just absolutely blown away upon arrival. Every room has its own unique features with the comfort (and romance) of a queen bed with a view. The bathrooms are a journey in themselves with every detail carefully thought out to create a eco-conscious experience. Then the food... every plate that is put in front of you is created in the most beautiful way and so tasty, the best food we had ever had. We had dinners by candlelight almost every night, with the fire going, honestly it was magic. A truly rustic and natural experience, you feel like you are in the jungle but just a quick ride to the beach. I cant stop talking about the incredible experience we had at Utopia, if you are after somewhere to stay in Rote you must stay here. Aimone will help you with everything you need, what he has created is true magic on a mountain!

Aimone, the owner , has studied Utopia Lodge in every individual detail in order to make the guest feeling like in a pristine and natural paradise enhancing your Rote experience. Getting out to one of the most beautiful island getaways was incredible and to be staying at Utopia was fantastic. From the hospitable staff and yummy food, to the elevated jungle setting the Lodging was fantastic. The pool area was great for the kids as it brought everyone together. Be ready to drive the bike to the beach, as it was a bit inland, but that also gave it an incredible experience of being in the forest. Can't wait to go back to Rote and do some more exploring

Peaceful silently place to stay!unique rooms made with local and sustainable materials. We were there with our 2 little kids and the staff was really nice and helpful ! It is a place save for kids and good for families! Quality food. Every day changing menu dipent of the harvest! Utopia is special! They have their own garden to grow lots of veggies ! And the view is breathtaking! So if you wanna stay out of the crowd and be in contact with nature Utopia is the place!

Wow , Utopia is a very special place. We had a very enjoyable week based at Utopia.Our bedroom was absolutely beautiful; with a view over the jungle far below and on to the picturesque Nembralla beach. Conveniently placed binoculars in our private lounge/day bed annex, enabled the early morning surf check.Our room was totally exposed to the tropical breezes that gently passed through our mosquito net. The bed was comfortable and good array of pillows enabled very comfy reading after dinner. All of the meals were exceptionally tasty and very healthy. Its was nice to know a lot of the vegetables were grown on site in the organic veggie patch. The pool area is very comfortable with day beds in the sun or shade depending on your pref. and with the amazing view over the jungle and on to the sea and the setting sun. We were easily able to access the other parts of the island we wished to explore as our hosts made their car and motorbikes available to us very freely. I would highly recommend staying at this very unique and special destination, and look forward to a return visit.

Utopia is warm and welcoming and you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The family who owns it, along with the staff go out of their way to make sure you are looked after at all times. There is a lot of fun excursions and activities available, along with great yoga classes in the morning. If you like being completely surrounded by nature and beauty then this is the place for you!

We are traveling in Indonesia and luckily we have found this little paradise. Utopia lodge is not only a lodge. It's pure expression of passion and love. A nice young couple made this place with their own. A pure eco lodge immerse in a beautiful nature in the best hill facing the ocean and T-land wave. A pure spot with a great garden every meal it's prepared with local products and most of them come from their farm. Great menu every day and tailor made service that is just a cherry on the cake! Kim and Aimone a beautiful family will make your stay in Rote island amazing. Always available at any time for any needs. We travel a lot around the world and people like this are rare gems. Give a visit also if you are staying in other place just to enjoy the view and the delicious restaurant they have. Great spot to enjoy the sunset with a nice fresh cocktail or a glass of wine. Local staff is coming from the close our village. Kids around greeting with good smile every time you will pass. Only 5-7 min driving from the beach. Private boat for you any time.. what else? Try a visit and your will get rewarded when you will be here. We will miss you Utopia, we promise we will be back soon, thanks to share with us this paradise Island.

Best sunset place possible in Rote. Newly opened a little away from the coast on the cliff edge. A hidden paradise, never visited a place like this. Thanks for the beautiful evening. Nice food, yoga classes and check out the toilet! Worth to spend a night there.

The rooms are unique with superlative view, the restaurant is simply delicious. This is the spot if you are looking for a very relaxing experience. During the night you only listen the sweet sound of nature. The owners are a passionate italian-german couple with lovely kids. Don't miss this place!
