Just returned from a week long of horseback riding. For the money you can't go wrong. The service, food, and riding was excellent. This ranch is for those that can relax and go without tv, phone, and internet during your stay. You can do as much or as little as you want. They even have programs for the children. The...

I'm a single mom and my boys and I just returned from our first stay at the Bar Lazy J. Sheri and Jerri are amazing, hospitable people who make all feel welcome. This was truly a fun filled yet relaxing vacation where we met genuinely nice families from around the country. I have ridden on and off in my life,...

I just came back from the opening week and I am still thrilled about all the experiences we've made at BlJ! We found this awesome Guest Ranch by fortune in the internet and all our expectations were exceeded. It was really worth the effort of travelling 8000 miles from Germany to Parshall, Colorado and if I could give ten stars...

Having visited several ranches over the years and the Bar Lazy J was one of the best. The staff consistently exceeds expectations and the location is incredible. Our group enjoyed everything from the horseback riding where each rider seemed paired with her perfect horse to fishing to the petting zoo. My jeans seem to suggest that I enjoyed the bottomless...

I visited this ranch last year, being a young solo female traveller travelling from so far away I was rather nervous to visit but I didn't need to be at all. The staff were fantastic and so helpful with everything. The other guest were so friendly, I never felt lonely or bored, I was constantly included and invited to join...

This was THE best birthday present EVER! I was completely surprised by my husband for my 60th birthday - and there aren't enough words to describe how wonderful our experience at the Bar Lazy J was. From the moment we arrived and they unpacked our car, parked it offsite, and brought us to our private cabin along the Colorado River...

I vacationed at the Bar Lazy J to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday - a girl's week away! What an amazing experience - the staff, the scenery, the horses, the accommodations, the food, EVERYTHING was perfect. You could ride as much or as little as you liked, there was always something to do, even if it was just visiting with...

We vacationed at the Bar Lazy J as part of a larger family reunion. We had a blast! The staff are all friendly (especially the wranglers), the rooms are charming and clean, and the food is delicious! Also, as my wife and I were wranglers at a different guest ranch in our younger years, I can vouch for the riding...

Spent my 6TH visit during Adult only week and it was unbelievable. Wednesday night saw two hours of line dancing, Thursday night saw two hours of singing favorite songs. Friday night saw card games and free beer. And, Saturday night was game night, with everyone laughing over and over again. The food remains excellent thanks to Chef Eddie and Alex....

A group of 8-12 women, all experienced riders, have taken a riding vacation together for the last four years. This was our first at the Bar Lazy J and it will not be our last. I have never been to a ranch with such great customer service by the entire staff and personal involvement by the owners. Everyone was trained...
