Absolutely fresh farm to table food. Sometimes due to the season the menu gets a little limited but you won't leave hungry and you probably won't have a hard time finding something good on the menu to eat at any time of the year. You'll get some of the freshest eggs you've ever eaten. And when you water hot food... More

We are very particular about comfort coupled with a unique experience in quaint small inns. The lodging is in an older building with the ambiance of yesteryear. It is very apparent that the owners have put a great deal of love, time and thought into their INN. All the rooms looked to be upgraded, are on the second floor above... More

We like to travel during spring and fall--it's generally less crowded, there are fewer children, and the weather is usually less extreme. This fall we found the Living Farm Inn, B&B located on the second and third floors above the Café with the same name in cool little Paonia, Colorado. Our room (#A) was clean and pleasantly furnished (no TV... More

This hostelry lies in the middle of town, not attached to a farm as the name suggests. We had booked Room E but, as this was being renovated, we were moved to Room C which lay adjacent to the laundry room. This proved to be a little noisy due to restaurant linens being washed until 2230. Since we were the... More

I stayed at this inn in June, 2015. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that I'm an older traveller and there is no elevator. It's an old boarding house or hotel. The rooms are clean and basic, but in this area, you will not be spending time in your room, as the area is so... More

We were able to check in early which was nice - we had been camping for a few days before and wanted to shower before touring the local wineries. The room was great, everything was clean, the beds were comfortable. And the full breakfast from the menu that is served to restaurant guests was great. Coffee is good, which was... More

Water glasses filled with warm temp water, no ice. Adjoining table served with ice in water glasses and lemon, which is expected touch. Waitress seemed absent minded. Bison sandwich was overcooked and wife's macaroni dish was small portioned. Meals seemed overpriced with no garnish and abundance of french fries. Small salad would have been nice touch, included with meal and... More

This is a great spot for some of the freshest food you will find. You can do a tour of the family farm, only a few miles from the Inn/Cafe, and see the incredible abundance of crops and livestock that will eventually end up on a plate at the cafe or a CSA box. After the tour, a meal in... More

Had the curry salad and pot pie last week. Loved my salad!! What an amazing idea, curry on a salad, so innovative. I enjoyed the pot pie also but didn't quite understand why the veggies that were served in the pot pie were also served as a side dish. Staff was super sweet and friendly. Atmosphere was sweet, great lighting... More

First of all this was a delight. The staff was super accommodating and friendly, the food very good but this place is special! I had a room with a shared bath. I'll have you know that when I stay at many 5 star resorts, I bring slippers, I roll down the comforter and get it off the bed immediately..I have... More
