Great spot for the "recreational" vacation. Casual and relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. Its an easy walk to restaurants and the springs. The river is right behind the motel aswell.

Pros: Being located next to the river and close to the Malt Shop is nice The rooms was clean Easy access from the car to room Cons: The very limited choices of items for breakfast Coffee didn't taste good The room didn't smell like smoke, but the hallways do, due to people smoking just outside the doors.

We were only going to be in Pagosa Springs for one night and did not want to spend very much money to crash somewhere and run out early the next morning, so First Inn was perfect. Its is a bit dated, but, everything was clean, and you get what you pay for. The location is great, walking distance to some...

Absolutely the worst. Holes in the walls, blood stains on the walls, extremely dirty and marijuana filled rooms. Office was very unpleasant and rude. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The pictures online are not of this place. If the whole town wasn't booked we wouldn't have stayed the night. Although sleeping in our car would have been...

The room had a stuffy unclean odor when we walked in. My granddaughter was bitten by a spider in the night and has 5 very uncomfortable bites on the calf of her leg that we have been treating the remainder of the trip. We walked past the hot tub room and would not have taken a chance in there for...

We enjoyed our stay at First Inn. Although an older motel, the rooms were clean and the AC worked better than any I've seen! The rates were reasonable. The place is 420 friendly. It's also situated right on the river, it is next door to a liquor store and marijuana store, and there is a tube rental place 100 feet...

Have stayed here many times over past 10 years. It's a great, friendly and an affordable place. Easy access to shopping, dining and adventure. I always check for room here before looking at other lodging options.

The rooms are always very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location for all summer and winter activities. You can walk or bike to many local restaurants and brewery's and the ski resort is a short drive away. Most importantly it is 420 friendly!

Pretty average hotel, but right downtown so great walking access to restaurants, brewpub, etc. It also has working AC, which some of the older motels in the area do not, so bonus! Interestingly, three of the beds in our two rooms had pretty new and very comfortable memory foam topped (spring foundation) mattresses. One bed was still an old crappy...

For a quick overnight stay this place worked out perfectly. The people were friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked and the TV worked...not much more needed then that.
