We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Black Bear Manor. The inn had very tasteful decor, was spotless, had a lovely breakfast room, wonderful "observatory" with incredible views, great bed and linens, and the full breakfasts were fabulous!! Nice extra amenities like a fridge full of complimentary water, juice, soda, etc., wine and local beer for "happy hour," and snacks/tea...

My wife and I recently stayed in Ouray Colorado at a very nice Bed & Breakfast called Black Bear Manor. The room was very nice and the bed was as comfortable as our own bed at home. We enjoyed a gift of specialty premium coffee and truffles. Our first night we enjoyed evening cocktails of either wine or beer. The...

Ouray, CO, is an enchanting town on the Western slope that flows with personality, charm, history, activities, and the allure of isolation. Black Bear Manor accompanies this unique pallet perfectly. The property (of which is an actual manor) is nestled off the main street but still quite reachable to walk. It's interior decor matches the mountain town vibe superbly but...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Black Bear Manor! Margaret is a wonderful hostess and made us feel so comfortable. She had great suggestions of things to do, our room was very comfortable, breakfast was so yummy, and happy hour is fun too! Do not miss the third floor observatory - great for star-gazing, but also a wonderful, quiet...

We selected the Black Bear Manor based on so many positive TripAdvisor reviews, and although there were some aspects of our stay that we enjoyed, we also had a few disappointments. First, the room we stayed in (#4) was not my idea of luxury. The bed was a nice king and was comfortable, but it took up almost the entire...

Off the main street in Ouray - quiet and charming. The staff was warm and welcoming. One of the best B&B's I've been to. Breakfast was delicious and the happy hour is a great chance to meet fellow travelers. A wonderful experience.

Stayed 2 nights but would have loved to stay more!! Rooms are very nice each with private bathroom and also outside exit to patio which leads to hot tub. Have never stayed at a bed and breakfast, but this was like a small hotel with amenities of a B&B. The evening social hour was great!!! All the wine and beer...

The rooms are very welcoming and comfortable. Breakfast is amazing--homecooked, fresh, plentiful, variety of choices, and delicious. Their happy hour is generous, with no limit of how much wine or beer you want, and the options are of good quality. This B&B is right in the heart of downtown Ouray, and will more than likely see us again!

We stayed 3 nights and we just had an amazing time. We will be back. The views from the property were epic. It is right off the main drag in ouray, within easy walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. The rooms were well-sized, up to date and each had their own character. The staff took great care...

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights...Our room was small but very comfortable...The breakfast was a feast and everything was delicious. Wine or beer in the afternoon also was a very nice amenity. Our host Margaret could not have been more helpful...This place is about 2 blocks off the main street and therefore is very quiet. They really don't...
