Our family from Pennsylvania stayed in two rooms at Blue Skies Inn during our visit to Manitou Springs and we loved the property. The rooms are large, air conditioned, and the bathrooms are huge! Having a nice large shower was wonderful! The very clean rooms are well appointed and painted in different artistic themes that make the stay feel special...

We're happy that our Pennsylvania guests found so many fun things to do as a family - you can stay here for a week and still leave interesting places unseen. We feel especially fulfilled as innkeepers when our guests call to book since we can ask about their interests, then help plan an itinerary. The sight of Pikes Peak from...

There were four of us: two visiting from Cincinnati, OH, and two who live in Fort Collins, CO. One of us had stayed at Blue Skies B&B before. Chose it again because of a great experience in 2014 and another great one was had last week - Jun 1&2, 2016. There's a lot to do in the area, not the...

For us, one of the biggest compliments is when our guests visit again. A repeat visit entitles the guest to choose the morning's muffin flavor - our Chocolate Cappuccino Muffins are a guest favorite. We also have guests who take their extra muffins home with them - someone sent us a lovely illustrated story of their trip to Bali, featuring...

We just traveled throughout Colorado. Manitou Springs, and The Blue Skies Inn, was the last stop on our journey. We stayed in the Rock Art suite and it was comfortable, spacious, very well appointed, had a great shower, and was private - it was tucked away in a little corner surrounded by trees. The from-scratch breakfasts delivered to our door...

Indeed, Innkeeper Mike is a storyteller of epic proportions. Having a keen mind for History, he can tell stories of early Colorado, and he is especially knowledgeable about quirky things to do. Whatever your interest, he can direct you to little-known places that are out of the way or to museums with special collections. Thank you for the comment about...

We have stayed here a few times, and it is our 'go to' place in the Colorado Springs area. Beyond being close to the quaint town of Manitou Springs, the inn is a very comfortable place to just hang out. Sally and Mike are very nice people who will go out of their way to accommodate, and they serve a...

Aw, thanks for the "killer breakfast" comment. Knowing that our guests usually need an energy boost in the morning, we serve a nutritious and fun breakfast that can be eaten in the guest's private sitting room before they leave for the day's activities. Many of our muffins have taken a ride in a backpack during a hike to the top...

We have stayed at multiple B&B's in the United States and throughout Great Britain. The Blue Skies at the foothills of Pike's Peak is one of the most delightful that we have encountered in the past 22 years. A gift from our Children Christmas 2015 was utilized as we traveled through Colorado in route to Arizona in April 2016. The...

Wow, we love how you have ranked us for romance, but then, you are *pretty* serious about romance, having spent 62 years together! We think of our suites as stage sets, with our guests being the actors in them. We are happy that you enjoyed the drama of Sunset suite and our midnight gardens under moonlight.

Wonderful last minute stop on our road trip exploring Colorado/Pike's Peak. Had plenty of privacy, lots of movie choices, and very nice breakfast in the morning, delivered right to our door. Would love to come back! Thanks for your hospitality!

A funny thing about coming back: every year, we have guests who fall in love with our area, then decide to move here. Yes, it is *that* pretty at the base of Pikes Peak, and Manitou Springs is a sweet little mountain community whether you are visiting or looking for a wonderful place to settle. Our property was settled by...

We are so happy about our location here at the base of "America's Mountain", Pikes Peak. Every morning, she greets us as we walk to the kitchen to cook breakfast. Blue Skies Inn is perhaps the only B&B in our area that welcomes children. We have ten suites, each with a different painted theme. Some are romantic, some are exotic, some are favorites of children - there is a suite here for every guest's preference. Blue Skies Inn is fantastic! My husband and I generally do not like to stay in B and B's due to the lack of privacy and small rooms. We counted this favorite couple's stays recently - twelve visits to our inn since 2007! We love them as much as they love staying here.
