Everything was clean and pleasant, the staff friendly, very central location, the breakfast was nice, and I really appreciated having coffee available at 6:30 in the morning. We were in the Pawnee Room and found it uncomfortable to have to go out into the hall way to access our private bath. It either was not mentioned or I missed the...

Thank you for spending time with us. We do post all information on rooms on the website. The Pawnee room does have a detached private bath, as stated in the room information. We are a 130 year old structure 2 out of 9 guest bathrooms are in the hall, they are private you do not share. 7 rooms have ensuite...

Me and my husband did a quick overnight getaway at the Avenue Hotel for our 10 year anniversary. The room was beautiful, the bed comfortable, and I never wanted to leave. The place itself is a wonderfully renovated turn of the century house with inviting sitting rooms and an expansive garden. Our room had a clawfoot tub that was great...

We had a lovely weekend at the Avenue B&B! Gwen, Randy, Jenny and Jason were so accommodating with good stories, helpful suggestions and delicious breakfasts. The rooms were spotless and the house was well kept. We have stayed in other B&Bs and this one was absolutely the best! Thank you so much for the experience, the Davis'

I highly recommend the Avenue Hotel Bed and Breakfast. I went to Manitou Springs for a 2 day conference and opted to not stay at the Cliff House, where the conference was being held. Instead I stayed a short 5 minute walk in a beautiful home. The inn-taker was extremely nice and helpful. The house is immaculate and my bed...

OOOOPS! You reviewed the wrong property. The three story Avenue Hotel Bed and Breakfast was built in historic Manitou Springs in 1886. Our unique architecture has us built right into the hillside on 1/4 acre. We have 7 rooms in the main house and a 2 unit Carriage House in the back garden. The hot tub sits between the two...

The avenue was quaint old world, clean, with good food. The owner, who apparently some thought was too "cool" towards them, I found to be a straightforward, honest person who tried to be warm but really that's not generally her personality type, but I liked her for the effort and really she was just fine. More of a flinty real...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. There is a delicate balance as an innkeeper not to be too forward with chit chat hoping not to interrupt your guests at breakfast or during other encounters on the property. Some guests like a lot of interaction and other like non at all. I try to be in the...

We enjoyed our stay at the Avenue B&B. Our accommodations were comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed our view of the city from our room. The location is perfect and in close proximity to many local restaurants and sites in Manitou Springs. We really appreciated the quietness of the other travelers of the inn. We appreciated the security of the inn...

We do serve breakfast on the covered front porch looking out at the mountainside and the city in the summer. We do find guests love to be out in the summer. We apologize if we misunderstood that you would have preferred to be inside at the table for breakfast, we would have happily moved you. We were guiding not insisting....

The owners and staff were very friendly and pleasant to talk with. Lovely rooms, with a private bathroom option, and a hot tub on site. The breakfast was excellent (personal souffles with green chili sauce one day, stuffed French toast the next) and they were very accommodating to various food restrictions among the guests. Parking was provided. The bathroom was...

Avenue B&B surpassed all expectations. Our first morning we had an early continental breakfast since we had plans with our grandchildren. The next morning breakfast was wonderful. The setting is beautiful. The view from the Canon Room is outstanding. Our next trip to Colorado Springs / Manitou Springs will definitely warrant a stay at Avenue Hotel B&B. Thank you Gwenn...

We stayed three nights in the Canon room at the very end of September during our two week trip through Arizona & Colorado.
