This location is absolutely to die for. Located ~2 hours southwest Denver Metro, it was well worth the car ride with kid asking, "are we there yet?" We stayed on the north shore and there were a number of other options as well. On this camping trip, we brought the entire family along and everyone had a great time. This...

Being tent campers, we picked a hike-in campsite in the backcountry. The setting was majestic! The hike-in sites are pleasantly private, with a picnic table and small fire ring (some sites had grills, ours did not). Bring water and firewood, because neither are readily available. Lots of bugs, but repellent kept us almost bite-free. I tried to research online the...

I have given Eleven Mile a poor rating and to be fair (or not) I am comparing it to the other Colorado State Parks I have visited. In comparison, Eleven Mile is very poor. To start, it isn't all that RV friendly. At the dump station there is no water. You cannot know just how valuable water at the dump...

Lovely location west of Colorado Springs by Lake George, CO. As the name suggests the reservoir is Eleven Miles long with 9+ campgrounds scattered along the shoreline and in the forested areas overlooking the lake, Most sites can be reserved, or you can choose from unoccupied sites. There are around 140 sites at Rocky Ridge, with electricity available at some....

Perfect setting. At night we could hear the elk making their call. The guy running the place was super cool, we had a sweet spot right on the riverbanks. I would def recommend this campground for the nature lovers out there. remote, quiet and perfect

This was our second time camping at the walk-in campsites off of Coyote Ridge. We state over Labor Day weekend and was afraid it would be too crowded. However, due to the remoteness of the camp sites it was absolutely perfect! The campsite (917) with in great condition and amazing views and access to the water! We had two kayaks...

We had an absolutely fab time. Everyone was so nice. Crystal (Krystal) from Park services answered all our questions. Was very nice and super Awesome!! She gets 3 A+'s for being such a great help. The only issue I disliked was the fire ants those little boogers bite but they hate Off...so we went to walmart and invested in some....

Eleven Mile's environs are beautiful, especially the granite rock formations all around the park and reservoir. Most of the camp sites in Rocky Ridge Loop are small and close together, and there are few trees. We selected site 114 in Loop E, which we liked because there is no campsite to the right, and there is a set of large...

We recently bought a larger trailer so we tried Eleven Mile Reservoir because it had larger pull in camping spots. We camped in Rock Ridge Loop D Space 90, but it looked like it was pretty much the same situation in Loops A, B and C. The camping spots are within 10 feet of your neighbor. You can hear them...

The park rangers were all great! The little miss know-it-all in the office was horrible! She treated my husband who is a disabled veteran terribly. She argued with him over being disabled and able to use a handicap campsite. She argued with the hours posted on google for their location, she argued with us about the campsite we wanted to...
