Hotel Vogar is an awful place. You can't give an "excellent" score only because this location is not far from the airport!! More, this is a very expensive hotel compared to what they offer. We stayed there as a family group of 8 people occupying 4 rooms. These rooms are all modestly furnished, with old furniture and lightning thrown in...

We booked a double room for a single night and were very pleased with it. It's a motel off the beaten track and not too far from the airport but that translates to a quiet night's rest and you can park right in front of your room. Ours was spacious and although dated had free WiFi and a comfy bed....

I spent one night in this hotel during my round trip through Iceland. It's my second visit in this hotel and I totally adore this place. Family-owned, nice and comfy rooms, excellent service and well-located if you need to leave for the airport or start your journey. Free WiFi and breakfast is included, if you are arriving late the owner...

This simple motel was very off the beaten path but very safe location and there wasn't much available near the airport. This is 14km away from KEF and fairly close to Blue Lagoon. The prices are somewhat misleading if you book with booking.com because those room prices do NOT include a private bathroom. We felt it was like a bait...

Cozy place where we stayed prior going back home. When I saw it from the car I was not sure what to think first but I was nicely surprised. Clean double rooms, you park your car right in front of the entry door, small kitchen, old fashion TV in the locking cabinet. Not much to complain about.

This place is great, it's family owned and operated and I can't say enough about how friendly and hospitable the staff is especially Gummie the owner. He goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. I was staying at a 4-star hotel nearby but moved in here last week and I feel more welcome here and Gummie appreciates...

We stayed one night in this hotel (more like a motel) near the Keflavik airport. The room was small but clean and we had 2 bathrooms at our disposal (for 6 double rooms) Breakfast was OK but no scambled eggs nor omelette were available. OK for one night.

This little hotel is an excellent place to stay. The rooms were clean, large by Icelandic standards, and full of amenities. Our room had a television, phone, desk, furniture with many drawers, wardrobe, blow dryer, and full coffee service. Unfortunately there was not a heated drying rack in the bathroom, but the multitude of hooks and hangers compensated. The bathroom...

Stayed here while working near gridivich. The owner gummi could not have been nicer or more helpful. Anything you need, you only have to ask. Short drive down to the dock and the fishing was pretty good. Nice way to relax when staying far from home for a month.

We were put in this Motel to spend the night by the WOW Airline. Can't judge the price because we stayed for free, since their delay caused us to miss the connection to Baltimore. Nice people ( Icelanders all are), clean and spacious rooms. It's kinda in the middle of nowhere and we didn't do much of exploring, but the...
