We had 3 nights in the one bedroom barn loft conversion for a long weekend in February primarily for the close location to the lobster pot restaurant (see 5 star review) Overall this was a good stay and we would return anytime other than winter however at £100 per night there were shortcomings. Our key takeaways were: 1. Victoria was...

Thank you for taking the time David to write a review and for all your kind comments about The Loft B&B, our self contained barn apartment in Church Bay. I take your criticisms very seriously and apologise for not explaining how the shower operated. I had a shower myself, as a test, to check the problem and found that the...

Just returned from my third stay at the Loft. I love the character of the place, and the extra space and facilities you have compared with the normal run of the mill B&b's. We had a a late lunch so we were glad to be able to relax by the wood burning stove with a few nibbles and a glass...

I agree with everyone about the location and the cottages, both front wing and back wing are as described and very clean. However the warm welcome was missing from Victoria. The front wing was our favourite, much lighter and welcoming. As two separate families we booked both wings as we wanted to be separate during the day but come together...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and I’m pleased you found Pen y Graig clean and as described in our advertisements. However, I’m sorry and puzzled that you felt unwelcome. I like to feel that we treat all our visitors in the same manner and certainly did not show you any less welcome when you all...

Just returned from a week at Pen y Graig staying in the Back Wing. As other reviewers report the hosts Victoria and Mark are very obliging finding us a safety gate, fireguard etc. as we had our 4 year old grandson with us. Church Bay is well away (a good 30 minute drive) from what might be viewed as more...

We've just returned from a weekend visit to Pen y Graig. To be honest we would never have chosen a place like this if our friends weren't visiting a place nearby who we arranged to meet. What a lovely find. This was the most perfect romantic little hideaway with everything you could possibly need including a roaring fire and a...

We have stayed here at the Loft B&B quite a few times now over the past few years, and what a lovely, quirky B&B it is. Victoria & mark make you feel most welcome, want for nothing Just like your own apartment, very private, with open plan kitchen/lounge, separate toilet & shower, also double bedroom. Help yourself to as much...

We had an incredible week at Pen y Graig - in the back wing - and we wish we could go back right now! The two bedrooms plus the large crib Mark and Victoria provided were very comfortable for myself, my husband, our 2-year-old son, and my sister and her boyfriend. The views just cannot be beat - we loved...

I stayed in the Loft for one evening. This is really the cozy, quiet, romantic place that you want to take your spouse or significant other. Staying more than one day would be worth it, especially if you have your own transportation. It is 10 minutes or less away from the Coastal Path, so is a convenient stop. Having a...

Anyone looking for B&B accommodation with tons of character and excellent facilities need look no further than The Loft at Pen y Graig farm. The Loft is a sympathetic barn conversion that combines modern facilities with lots of old world charm. The breakfast, which was cooked and brought over to the accommodation, was very good. I've already recommended Pen y...
