Kudos to TripAdvisor on this one. I found this place through TA and booked it based on the reviews and crossed my fingers. From the moment we arrived until we were on our way out, Jessica and her family made us welcome. We stayed in the log cabin that sleeps 8. The fact is this is a one bedroom cabin...

Was a tornado coming direction Hesperus or not, the P&G employee said "could be" anyhow, we bought our barbecue saucisses and marshmellows anyway..at the cabin finally we decided at 8 pm to start the fire, collecting small woods, larger woods, arranging the stones and grill material..we baked the saucisses, made some tortillas wraps, tomato, cucumber, no storm passed. As dessert...

We, my husband, dog, and I stayed in the ranch house. It was a great and relaxing place to spend a quiet weekend. We let our dog run around along the creek and in the pasture and she loved it. The kitchen was a great. It had all the necessities needed for making basic meals during the weekend. There was...

My family and I stayed three nights. It was great. Due to problems on our end we had to change the dates of our travel. The owners were wonderful and worked with us so we would not have to cancel and up graded us at no charge to the larger cabin. The furnishings were lovely. My children loved the loft...

We spent four nights in the 1926 school house converted into a one room cabin. The bed was quite comfortable. The entire cabin is clean and has a window air conditioner, which we used as temperatures were near 100 during the day. Once the sun was below the mountain the temperature dropped nicely into the 60s and we opened the...

We decided to take a long weekend over 4th of July and visit southwestern Colorado. We didn't want to be in the crowds of Telluride or even Durango, and this place fit the bill! Just about 40 minutes from Durango, but a world away. The property is a working ranch - small herd, and we never saw or heard the...

Did arrive until late, thankfully we found it. It's so pretty and clean, a great home for the weekend . The property is on a ranch but there are no loud works or animals going around. Del , the owner did come welcome us the next day, very nice man, and told us we could go look at the heard....

We stayed in the schoolhouse in Oct 2013 and couldn't have been happier. Our Two kids (6&3yo) had a hoot exploring the property. Del and Rebecca could not have been more welcoming and even came down with additional firewood for the stove. My son couldn't stop talking about their fish tank all trip. Del even emailed us an article about...

This quietly tucked away Ranch near the Mesa Verde Mountains was perfect for a friends get-together. The cabins are comfortable with lots of rustic charm, with rooms large enough for a gathering, and the location was centally located enough to enjoy shopping in Durango and days trips into Silverton. The Aspens in the fall are stunning making it a great...

This is a great family friendly and pet friendly place. We stayed in the school house which has a small kitchen, a 3/4 bathroom, a queen bed and a queen futon. We were a little disappointed that the creek isn't really accessible for the kids to play in, but we still had a great time. Washing dishes is a bit...
