Decided to have a leisurely Friday lunch, just the two of us. We had been before, but some time ago and it was very good. This time it was just as good, excellent in fact. Place was full when we arrived 1.30pm, but we had a cosy corner table. The food and service were excellent, and all very relaxed and... More

Web are blessed with living in a part of the Country (North Yorkshire) where fine dining is easy to find, but The Timble Inn is amongst the best. Situated close to the Fewston and Swinsty reservoirs the Inn is in a quiet location but close to Harrogate - about 8 miles. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the food and... More

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Timble. We have always enjoyed our stay. This was a post Christmas break for two nights including breakfast and dinner. The remote location is fantastic as you walk through the door and you are welcomed by a log burner and a cold beer. The staff are so friendly and helpful.... More

Enjoyed our one night stay on a cold and snowy January night, very friendly greeting upon arrival and shown straight to our room, bedroom was a good size although bathroom could do with extending, would not book a room again without a bath. Dinner was superb, food and staff top notch with good atmosphere in the restaurant. I think breakfast... More

Have just spent New Year at this most wonderful inn, boasting luxurious bedrooms, fantastic food, welcoming, attentive staff. Previously stayed in room 8 which was superb, can now boast room 7 even better ? Can recommend Ilkley & Harrogate for retail therapy, whilst a drive over the Yorkshire Dales offers spectacular views, walks abound all around. Have recommended to so... More

If they could name this place after a song - it would have to be this one, we stayed here last year for 3 nights and again stayed this year for 3 nights and once again it was fabulous, restful, quiet, fantastic food, so relaxing - exactly what we wanted after a busy Christmas. My husband summed it up on... More
