Me and my partner decided to visit Timble from Manchester this weekend. First of all what a lovely village Timble is, perfect for walking and a stones throw away from the lovely towns of Otley, Ilkley and Harrogate for those who fancy a bit of shopping and a coffee. We were welcomed by Andy, the restaurant manager who was very... More

Called in at lunchtime on a Saturday. Used to know this place many years ago as a regular, old fashioned pub and were just looking for a quick pint and sandwich. When we saw it has been transformed into a gastro pub (with rooms etc) we were a bit surprised to be so welcomed when most folk were eating a... More

This is my 1st 5 star rating so I admit to being a bit picky. We had eaten Sunday lunch here a few times; it can be a nice place to stop if you're in the right area of The Dales / North Yorkshire. So we knew the food was very good and we decided to use it for my... More

This is a lovely venue. Friendly, helpful staff and a relaxing environment. Visited on 23rd September with my wife and enjoyed a two course lunch finishing with coffee and delicious fudge. Have been here before, and once again found the food well presented and of good value. However, the 'short' menu means that if you were to come regularly, you... More

If you have the chance to come here - do! The location is great to explore the Dales. The rooms where beautiful and the food was excellent. The porridge for breakfast was my favorite, as was the cheese plate. The staff was also so helpful too. I give the Inn 5 stars for everything!

The Timble Inn is beautiful. We stayed the night after our wedding. Our room was gorgeous, nothing was to much trouble for the friendly staff. The restaurant food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was excellent in all areas and Timble is such a lovely quaint village. Thank you

Upon arriving the staff were friendly and the room was furnished lovely (room 8). We were a little, disappointed of the room size for the price quoted. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The downside was that there was no where to sit either before or after the meal to relax. We felt like we had to retreat back to... More

We had friends staying here for two nights on a golfing trip and met them for dinner. The place was unusually quiet instead of being full, now I know why. Very disappointing. The service was average, and the food below the standard anticipated. Chateaubriand was not pink as requested but overdone. The sea bass was minuscule. Two small pieces two... More

We went a few weeks ago for lunch and really enjoyed it. The place is lovely and the staff are really nice. We stayed over for one night and the room was excellent. The meal unfortunately was a bit disappointing. I had the sea bass, which was one fillet cut in half two prawns, very little veg, some lentils cooked... More

We had a two night, midweek stay at the end of July and were really happy with all aspects. The food was delicious, fabulous presentation and the restaurant had a really good atmosphere. Can't understand some of the more negative comments recently posted but, hey, it's a free world! Room 4 was our choice this time, at the front of... More
