Clean and well maintained. Refrig was "preset" with no knob, stops dope from setting too low and freezing everything. WIFI and TV worked well. Take out on the fly breakfast had banana, bagels, muffin and a good coffee. Found no ice machine but did not ask where it was. Better than the other town options

Stayed one night in Granby after touring Rocky Mountains National Park. Our room was very interesting and eclectic. It actually had two bedrooms and one bathroom. It had no air conditioning but stayed reasonably cool at night despite heat outside. It was clean enough but a little rough around the edges. Okay for a one-night stay. Good bagel breakfast with...

As other reviewers have emphasized, this place is clean and charming. Conveniently located on the highway, it is easy to find. The rooms are small but well furnished, including dressers, a small kitchen-type table, refrigerator, microwave, shelving, small closet for hanging items, and even a roll of paper towels in the "kitchen" area of the room. I could certainly see...

Thank you so much! It is really nice to know when our guests are happy with their stay. Dale and Tracy work very hard at the motel and it's nice to know you've been appreciated. The Trail Riders was opened in 1951 so the rooms are small compared to todays motels. We work hard at keeping it clean and comfortable,...

We are bicycling cross country through small town USA. We have stayed in a wide range of hotels/motels. This motel is exceptionally clean outside and inside. The rooms are small but there is plenty of space for two people to spread out their stuff. There are many shelfs and a few hooks along with a small storage closet. The positives:...

I would like to thank you very much for all the kind things you said about The Trail Riders! As you said our rooms are a bit small but we try to include everything we can to make them work for our guests. The shelves and hooks seem to help a lot. I am sorry about the cigarette smoke we...

This was our first visit to the Rocky Mountains. After driving trough all extremely busy places like Winter Park we came in Granby. The motel is on the main road and the first thing you notice is how well it is maintained outside. On every porge there are hanging flowers with flags for the celebration of the 4th of July....

This is the third year on a row we have stopped in for a night. This is a clean, comfortable little motel in cowboy country. The staff is friendly and the air is fresh. It is an easy drive to Rocky Mountain National Patk and there are a couple of imteresting eateries in town. Try Java Lava for breakfast and...

We're on a two week Colorado fly fishing vacation. Started in Denver and will end in Denver. My husband loves planning trips and always seems to find fun and unique hotels. He liked the Trail Riders Motel sign online and the rest is history. Everything is amazing..from the beautiful petunia boxes on the porch, the quaint knotty pine, the comfy...

We're so happy you had a great stay! It's so nice when people appreciate the little things in a motel room. We actually have one of the original bedspreads from when TheTrail Riders first opened and it does have a horse saddle on it. The original lights fixtures were made out of horse shoes. We tried to save some of...

This is absolutely the cleanest motel I have ever been to. I love the small, intimate rooms. Perfect for a couple to get away to.
