We were celebrating a special event, so spending extra $$ during "off-season" was an indulgence. To begin, the front desk gal was aloof & indifferent from check in to later in evening. The room was incredibly mediocre, bathroom extremely dated (not vintage or charming) with a single porcelain sink so close to the wall you almost bumped it when brushing...

We consider feedback a gift, so thank you for this important information. Your tip about our Colorado Rooms is especially helpful, as these rooms face the Colorado River, the train station, and embrace what Glenwood Springs is about. Each of your thoughts above are currently being examined, so thank you again.

I've stayed at the Denver a few times and I always love it! The staff is super helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean, I love the wood floors throughout, and the brew pub located inside is really fabulous too! The crafted beers are crisp and the food is really great!

Spent a short night. Meg, at check-in, was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant & brewery is wonderful. The rooms and decor are 'warm' and cozy. Beds comfortable. The cost / value was great. Location wonderful being right downtown, but seemed quiet.

My husband and I were taking a vacation in our home state and went to Mesa Verde, since we had never been to the hot springs in Glenwood, CO we decided to stay one night and take a dip in the springs to end our vacation. We treated ourselves to the Hotel Denver and were not disappointed! The hotel is...

We arrived in Glenwood Springs by train. The Hotel Denver is adjacent to the train station. Our large room was immaculate with a wonderful view. Comfortable beds, nice furniture, and quiet! The staff was very kind, helping with towels, discounted tickets, and bottled water we could take to the hot springs. The brewery next door is a bonus!

I have stayed at both the Hotel Denver and the Hotel Colorado. The Denver is a bit newer and has a brewery inside, also closer to dining. The Colorado is very old and cool if you're into the historic perspective and possible ghost stories. Pro Tip: If you walk along the river, going right out of the hotel. Follow the...

We stayed on the Sunday after the Hotel's 100 Anniversary and the staff was thrilled about the party that was held to celebrate the Hotel's longevity. We stayed there because it is pet-friendly and very centrally located. Love the exposed brick and the room we had was comfortable with a lot of Keurig tea and coffee in the room and...

We just stayed at the Hotel Denver for 2 nights last weekend and enjoyed the room and the location of the hotel. I was very disappointed in the service and the Management. The GM, was rude and unpersonable, as we ran into him at least 4 times and never once a smile or a simple "hi, how's your stay", which...

Dear MBCavanagh, My deepest apologies that you felt our service did not exceed expectations. I also wanted to apologize that you felt I did not personally give you the attention that you deserved. By no means is this how our staff has been trained or how I lead them. I will make the necessary corrections to ensure it does not...

We just popped in for an overnight on a round trip from Winter Park on the train. It was amazing. We booked the Penthouse. It had a beautiful balcony overlooking the Hot Springs, the river, and the train station. The balcony was huge! Larger than some hotel rooms. We were able to sit outside until nearly midnight. The beds were...

This hotel has a lot of character. The rooms are spacious and ours had a sitting area with two recliners. It's a short walk to restaurants and bars and is a short walk from the Glenwood Hot Springs. They supply free towels for use at the hot springs and offer discounted tickets too. They have a bicycle closet too for...
