We enjoyed our visit to the Hotel Colorado. The hotel is a little run down but that gives it some charm. The current management won't talk about any of the haunted ghost stories but you can google them if interested. Nice location within walking distance of many Glenwood Springs locations.

We decided to stay at the Hotel Colorado during our visit to Glenwood Springs because of its central location and the history associated with it. I was told "it's the thing to do." The location was convenient - walking distance from the main street in town, restaurants, etc, as well as the Glenwood Hot Springs pool and the Yampah Vapor...

I used to come to the HC with my parents when I was a kid and haven't been back in more years than I care to admit. Given some of the reviews I've read, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I wanted to revisit a favored vaca spot from my childhood. I was not disappointed. First off, this is...

My family and I always stay here during the spring break season. Old, rustic and historic. Supposedly haunted by friendly spirits, but I didn't experience anything this stay. Good restaurant and bar area. LOVE the front courtyard at night with firepits and decorative lights. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly.

What a wonderful place! Hotel built in 1893 and all the original woodwork and touches are great. Rooms are smaller, which is to be expected, but very clean. Wide hallways and antiques sitting in the hall. Was very quiet and a treat to stay there. Would definitely return.

Kudos to Hotel Colorado for embracing the historical attributes of this building. Although built in 1893, it still has all the modern amenities. Friendly staff and really clean. Great majestic old hotel.

I was taking a slow crawl back from a week long trip to Denver to buy a painting from an artist there, and I decided to stay overnight at the Hotel Colorado...(I found it such a GREAT quiet place to totally kick back and relax...The Large classic old lobby has well worn furniture, but comfortable throughout the lobby, and beautiful...

Booked a tower suite. Nothing has been changed in this place in decades. Not thoughtfully placed antiques mind you, just beat up old furniture. There isn't a bellman to help with bags, and the parking is a bit of a walk.

This hotel is central and close to everything. The rooms are very clean. My room was missing the tv remote, The front desk brought remote quickly. Close to the hot springs. Would definitely stay again

This is a well preserved historic hotel. The staff are very friendly and professional. Teddy Roosevelt stayed her as did Walter Devareaux and many many famous and infamous characters of the last 120 years. Rooms are clean and quaint, a bit small but comfortable. The courtyard had a nice view while sitting in log rocking chairs and warming to the...
