My 21 year old son and I were trying to find the best match for the different things we wanted from a joint vacation: serenity, adventure, beauty, and top-end food and lodging. Thank you for your splendid review. We are pleased you were able to discover this very special place. You are not alone! We hear from many of our guests, that they thought of Colorado as ski country only. We are so much more - located on the Unaweep-Tabaguache Scenic and Historic Byway. Word can't describe the beauty and the sophistication of this resort. We drove from Grand Junction although the resort would be happy to come and get you. The grounds and surroundings are perfect. The spa is elegant. This whole place is first class and we have been around.

What a wonderful experience! We loved the majestic scenery and unspoiled beauty of the location. We splurged and got a room with the outdoor hot tub. It was worth the extra cost and is highly recommended. The service was outstanding and kudos should be given to all the hard working team. My only suggestion for improvement would be in the...
