This visit was an anniversary surprise getaway from my hubby and he picked the perfect destination! Loved it from the moment I saw it. Coming from Michigan where there are no mountains whatsoever I was awe struck by the beauty of the scenery. The staff was fun and friendly and the food was over the top. Would definitely stay in...

FANTASTIC escape, great people, beautiful environment and scenery, cozy and clean room, phenomenal breakfasts and great conversation... and close to so many hikes and adventures. We opted for the Mariposa cabin and chose a trey-breakfast each morning - both breakfasts were fresh and delicious and delivered with style. One morning it was prepared by one of the owners - John...

We rented two of the cabins for a three day getaway for the two of us and our out of town guests. We all agreed that the Wild Horse Inn was the perfect destination for our visit! The breakfasts were amazing, and the staff easily accommodated one guest's request for gluten free dining. We hit the bottomless cookie jar hard...

Stayed 2 nights at the Wild Horse Inn. First time I've stayed in a B&B where I felt like I belonged there. The breakfasts were wonderful. Scott's chocolate hazelnut french toast was to die for - and I don't usually like anything sweet for breakfast. Some of the best coffee I've ever had! My room was quiet and comfortable. Loved...

My wife and I were told about the Wild Horse Inn in Fraser, Colorado - by a couple of friends. WOW!!! Do we owe those two a nice dinner. We went up to the Wild Horse Inn and had every expectation met which a dream lodge could offer. Beautifully appointed and well laid out - it was located in an...

We stayed in the Meadowlark Cabin and it was very nice to have our own sitting room, kitchenette and fireplace. The cabin was really warm and we had to set the heat ~10 degrees lower than we wanted. Very quiet in the woods. The breakfasts were delightful. My only complaint was we booked 4 months before and added a couples...

My husband and I spent a weekend at the Wildhorse Inn last winter after completing a major home remodel. We were in desperate need of a tranquil weekend away, and that is exactly what we got. The main lodge is lovely, and offers a cozy mountain feel with updated quality decor. We enjoyed unplugging and playing games, reading, sitting by...

This is our second visit to the Inn and we couldn't be more pleased. Chris and John and their staff have created the perfect get-away spot. We had a dog-friendly cabin and a large room in the main lodge for our family of five (plus two dogs). We love the yummy breakfasts and the cozy living room area. The great...

We stayed two nights in this delightful Inn/B&B very close to Devil's Thumb Ranch. John, Chris, and their small staff greeted us with a welcoming spirit as though we had been friends for years. Everything was impeccable: the rooms, grounds, gourmet breakfast, comfortable surroundings, and soothing hot tub. This is a private inn; not intended to compete with the expensive,...
