This was one of the nicest B&B's we have stayed in. Authentic, bright log cabin home with clean updated rooms. It is nestled in a remote area of Fraser, away from busy Estes Park and close enough to Rocky Mountain National Park. John does a great job on breakfast and goes out of his way to make you feel at...

We are so happy you had such a lovely stay! Maybe you can visit in the Winter sometime-it is a completely different experience but certainly a memorable one! The stars will be waiting...

My family was here to celebrate the Bat Mitzvah of my niece. So my brother booked the entire inn for 2 nights. The 4 of us stayed in the Buckskin room and it was lovely. I loved the special treats like the chocolate and granola. My husband and girls loved the cookie jar. I loved the bathroom and the thick...

We enjoyed your group so much! Thank you for taking the time to write an honest review for the Inn. We are so happy that the majority of your stay was excellent and will certainly address the part that was less then perfect! We take great pride in making sure our guests are comfortable and experience everything they were looking...

Beautiful log facility. Large comfortable rooms and beds. Gourmet breakfasts. Friendly, helpful staff and hosts. Quiet, cozy common areas and deck. Hot tub is good addition as nights can be cool in the summer. Winter goes without saying.

We were here for a family function. We had the large bedroom on the main floor opposite the reception desk. The room was very large with doors to the common deck. It had a large, very comfy bed, plus a couch that pulled out into a queen sofa bed. That wasn't too comfy at all. Really needs a new mattress,...

Very pleasant staff! The inn is a beautiful log cabin. Outdoor hot tub is a nice perk, but it is pretty small (3-4 person) so keep that in mind if it's in use. All day cookies (store bought and in a cookie jar, but hey, free cookies!), tea, hot chocolate was very nice! There is a community refrigerator in the...

This was our base as we explored the area. Our daughter's friend is working at Devil's Thumb, and it was very convenient. It was not a bad drive to Rocky Mountain National Park or Grand Lake, and there are many other great destinations nearby. The staff was very helpful and pointed us toward great restaurants (try Tabernash Tavern) and hikes...

We've made the Wild Horse Inn our base on several trips at various times of the year, and have had nothing but great experiences. The location is an easy trek from Denver, and is close to winter and summer outdoor activities, great restaurants or just relaxing on ne of the decks or outdoor spaces with a good book. Breakfasts are...

We stayed at the Wild Horse Inn for 3 nights in mid June 2016, prior to my attending a conference in Denver. The location, 30 - 40 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park couldn't be better, if you'd like to take in the park during the summer. And, just spending time at the Inn is relaxing and awe inspiring, given...

Thank you Abigail for writing such a nice review! You write beautifully, perhaps we should have you on staff! The Buckskin room is one of my favorites especially since we did all the upgrades in there. So fresh and light! We hope you will come back and see us again soon!

What a beautiful, peaceful place. We brought our bikes and John was kind enough to tell us how to start behind Safeway and ride to Winter Park Ski Area. Hot tub was a pleasant 103 degrees and breakfasts were great. Also complimentary red and white wine, all day. This would be an excellent location for a wedding!

Each time I visit this place, I learn something new and find another reason to keep coming back. I assumed John (co-owner with his wife Chris) worked hard because this place never seems to age and is always picture perfect. Well, this man is putting his athletic background to use and hasn't seemed to miss a beat. This time, he...
