Remembered that the Owner gave my husband info about how to access and use wi-fi. Meant to mention this in my initial review. Plus, even though rooms are non-smoking learned that the enclosed gazebo is utilized as a place for smokers. On a personal note that disappointed me, because thought I had booked a motel that was completely - including...

Pros: good location. Quiet atmosphere. And decent service. Cons: broken things: bathroom vent. Missing sink plug. Dusty wall decor. Rough towels. Personal note: I called on a month early. Got a quote over the phone from manager. Arrived and owner tells me books say only 2 people. Extra person is another 15.00/night. And does not honor pricing listed online. So...

We came in late, they had already closed the office; we called the ER number and this warm, caring young man came right over and opened for us; we got checked in and he preceded us to the room, had the door opened for us and the heat up. This is a family owned business and one with history of...

Stayed here on motorcycle trip to DURANGO and MESA VERDE. We loved the motel and rooms and windows that REALLY open so we could run extension cord out to battery chargers and hear if anyone messed with our bikes. NICE MOTEL and LOVE IT there.

We only stayed for one night, but were really enchanted with the place. To begin, the owners were incredibly nice - they waited until we arrived and gave us a really nice, private room away from everyone else. The rooms were very charming (apparently freshly renovated) with nice linens and furniture. It was very convenient to have a fridge and...

Very nice owners and very clean property. Unfortunately is located on busy highway and road noise is loud until the late hours of the night. Room looks like old ski lodge with wood panel walls. Shower is new plastic surround with fabric curtain. Very strange looking. No shampoo, lotion or shower gel only very small sliver of soap in a...

While it is quaint on the outside the beds were hard, pillows hard ,no shampoo tiny tiny soap bars . We stayed one night and told them we would stay another night .At 9pm we were told we had to leave because they rented out the room to someone else. Most likely for a much higher price than they were going to...

On a recent visit to Durango we spent 3 nights here. They advertise free wifi but it doesn't work. I guess thats why its free. We were in room 8 with no wifi at all. Outside it was limited with a speed of less than 1 mbps! Room was clean and updated. Our last day of room service was poor...

The only good thing about our stay was that the room was clean. TV is the size of our computer monitor. Bed was terrible - you could feel every spring. Don't stay here, there are plenty of other places to stay right down the street!

I stayed at the Caboose motel one night on a 16 day road trip. The hotel is older and the rooms are very basic, but I was pleased at the cleanliness and the bed was wonderful (cute addition of a teddy bear on the top). I was able to park right in front of my room, which made loading/unloading very...
