My wife is originally from Durango so each year around Christmas we retire to the mountains with our children to enjoy a couple weeks of the great outdoors. We had stayed at this resort (if you can call it that) three years earlier for a couple days out of convenience so when when my brother in law told me they...

Yes although as some reviews have said the front desk was not staffed as it is more of a condo rental place it did have excellent service once they showed up. It was a homey comfortable place to stay. The restaurant that just opened will get better with time. With all the beauty surrounding you how can you complain. I...

The hotel was quite dated, with old carpet and furnishings in dire need of an update. Rates were too high for the low end room, and the check-in experience was laughable with the young woman completing a personal call (for at least 5 minutes) before acknowledging our presence. Very weak. The hotel is 20 minutes out of Durango...be forewarned.

We had a fantastic time at the Tamarron Resort in Durango. Our room was clean and the spa was wonderful. Cheryl the massage therapist was awesome, which was our second time to have her as our massage therapist. Would highly recommend her and to stay at the resort. The scenery was beautiful and yet you were close enough for road...

This hotel is not new, and has no place to eat on site, but it is nice, clean, pretty views. The pool/spa area is very nice. There is no reason to pay huge prices for a newer resort when you are not really going to be spending your vacation indoors. It is too pretty to stay inside while in this...

I heard about rennovations, so I was very disappointed with our room. There were no improvements and very dated furnishings. I will definitely call beforehand and request updated room before ever staying here again.

We just stayed two nights at Tamarron Lodge. I did not realize until I checked in and tried to get a room at the top floor that this is not a hotel but a condo building. You could tell it was in between seasons as the "front" entrance was closed. The person checking me in took 45 minutes to help...

We spent 6 nights in Tamarron Lodge. We were two families and each took a "double" unit. Both units were not as clean as we'd expect. Kitchen utensils, silverware, etc. were stained. Our unit was quite old. There were at least 8 different thermostats (I kid you not), and to this day I'm not sure which one does what. The...

This is the second time that we've stayed at Tamarron for a skiing vacation. We love the location - halfway between town and the resort. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. My sons love the indoor/outdoor pool. Our room has always been clean. We usually leave the room by 9 am for a day of skiing, and housekeeping...
