We own a ranch in Telluride, so we went to Dunton for the hot springs and dinner. Both were excellent. Hot springs are a good temperature and big enough for a group, then drinks are served as people gather together around 6:30 pm in the beautiful old main lodge for a happy hour. Maybe we were lucky, but we enjoyed...

This place is different to anywhere we have ever visited before. We were not entirely convinced that we would find it all to our liking, especially the communal eating arrangement. But thanks to the company of very gracious fellow guests and the delightful and responsive staff we really enjoyed the whole experience. Congratulations especially to the chef and his team,...

My wife , the dog & I were lucky enough to spend a couple nights at this top notch rustic haven as our wind down after camping five spectacular nights in SW Colorado. The cabin was lovely, the staff was spectacular in attending to our needs. Especially Andrew, John & Norbert the approachable GM. The small but private hot springs...

We stayed here in 2009 as a special treat for my boyfriends 50th birthday and to complete his Wild West Odyssey as apparently the saloon in this resort is reputed to have hosted Butch Cassidy back in the day. It is a luxury resort but with a twist as it looks like an old mining town. Each cabin is unique...

It is hard to do Dunton Hot Springs justice in a written review! This was a one of a kind vacation not like many other typical vacations. It is a quaint, quiet, peaceful, rejuvenating experience. We stayed in the Well House which had the on demand hot spring in it. We thoroughly enjoyed having that feature! The cabins are very...

Traveling with a group of friends, we dropped in for lunch. The property is a ghost town with original buildings, turned into a resort. There is no menu, the meal was served family style. I think the menu changes with what they have fresh. John was our server and gave us great service. The food was brought to the table,...

We were lucky enough to be invited to Dunton Hot Springs for a July 4th weekend wedding. The property is as unique as it is stunning. The only thing that beats the 5-star service is the spectacular setting in which you get to enjoy it. We were greeted upon arrival with friendly smiles and genuine welcome. The staff went right...

This is a tough review for me to write! On one hand I loved this place a lot, but there so several areas that were misses for me so I'll just lay them out. This is an extremely expensive place (we paid $1,900/night for our room), so my expectations were high. Things that are amazing: - Location - the valley...
