We only had the opportunity to stay one night but this was a fabulous hotel in a great location. The hotel was old and classic and very well maintained. The rooms were adequately spacious unlike what I have typically seen in older hotels. The bathroom was spacious with a wonderful large marble shower with multiple shower heads (no bathtub). Service...

This Autograph Collection Hotel can be found under Marriott affiliate. It's almost as expensive as the JW in Denver, although JW required more Marriott points. I chose this to experience something of a different feel than the standard Marriott that I have spent almost 100 nights this year. The Brown Palace reminds me of the other Autograph Collections in New...

Staying at the Brown Palace should be on everyones bucket list. Continuously in service for over 120 years, the Brown has evolved and stayed present with the times. Historic, yet the rooms are spacious which is sometimes mutually exclusive. The staff is courteous, and very competent. The rooms are appointed beautifully, and provide many of the hi tech amenities we...

Had a two night stay here for business. Was in one of the small (~ 250 sqft) rooms but laid out very well and ample room for a solo traveler. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast quick and delicious. Would stay again!

Came to Denver for a convention and decided to try something different besides the standard hotels. This place has classic style with more "personality" than a modern hotel. The service has been excellent and we couldn't have been happier.

Lobby is a must-see with it's atrium style and stained glass ceiling. Christmas decorations in the lobby are over the top during the season. Rooms are small (except for the presidential suites) and are in need of updating. Food with live music is good in the cozy Ship Tavern restaurant at night. Brunch in Ellyington's is old school elegant.

Pros Downtown location, historical hotel, comfortable rooms Cons Noise from central atrium, service not up to standards for this level hotel Besides historical significance, architecture and location, people stay in a luxury hotel for the expected level of service. Well, problems began right at check-in. I don't know whether the reservation system is poorly designed or the staff is poorly...

We redeemed Gold member points to stay in this one-of-a-kind hotel. This is an unbelievably nice hotel that has been continuously open since the late 1800s! There is an artesian well that supplies water to the hotel exclusively and is great water. The service was very personal and attentive. We were upgraded to the top floor to a signature room...

Stayed two nights late August 2013. Older style hotel (built 120 years ago) with impressive lobby. Room (719) was large and had all amenities but found bathroom rather small. Free WiFi in lobby else pay for in room. The 'Ship Tavern' Bar/Restaurant had good atmosphere and plenty of choices for drinks and meals. Friendly staff throughout stay. Breakfast was selected...
