I have stayed here on several occasions before this and the rooms were fun and the Corner Bar was a great time. This time, the restaurant and bar were being remodeled so they were closed. And, we were "upgraded" to the 16th floor...which was bland (and one of the things my daughter was looking forward to). The rooms were very...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

My wife and I stayed here in mid-December of 2016 as part of our celebration of her birthday. We had an awesome time. The package we got was part of the Christmas in Denver event which many hotels in the downtown area take part in. Consequently, we got a great rate. Here are a few of the things we really...

Not staying at this hotel again. On several occasions, elevator would not allow room floor to be selected, therefore, went to next higher floor and walked down stairs. Restaurant was closed for remodeling, used room service and was charged for delivery and 20% tip. No decaf coffee at breakfast, eggs were cold, not much of a selection.

Stay number 1: Girl checking us in was rude. Acted like I was completely bothering her. Not once looked me in the eye- Not welcoming at all. Digital key didn't work. I called downstairs- she asked me to come pick up a key at the front desk. (Most places will bring a key upstairs to you) Stay number 2: I...

Great location and a wonderful staff. We stayed in a theme room and that was REALLY cool. Very close to all of the Denver hot spots. We were disappointed with the hotel restaurant. The food just wasn't that good. Then when we got the bill we were really disappointed. I would find somewhere else to eat downtown next time.

I was in Denver for a little over a week for work and was pleasantly surprised with The Curtis. The entire staff was great, I didn't encounter anyone with a bad attitude the whole time I was there. They remembered me by name and were incredibly accommodating. Each floor has a different theme, I chose the music floor and still...

This is our second stay at this hotel and probably our last. It is showing serious signs of age and neglect. From the doorman who was playing on his phone and too busy to even reply to a simple "hello" to the elevators showing pressed board on the walls, to the displaced bar that is currently in the lobby, this...

Ok ...so as a experienced and weekly traveler, I should have known that "boutique" hotel really should read ..."youth hostel"! But as a frequent traveler to Denver, and one who enjoys being downtown, I saw this and thought ..."how bad can it be" ...it's a Doubletree? As a Hilton Diamond member, I have gotten used to a certain level of...

This was our first visit to Denver and a friend had recommended the Curtis because of it's boutique type atmosphere despite it being a chain and so glad we took her advice! Everything about the hotel is so unique and fun. Location was perfect - just 2 blocks from the 16th street mall where all the shops are and walking...

I really wanted to give this hotel a great review. That was indeed my initial plan, but I just can't in the aftermath of my stay. The hotel itself is convenient to downtown. The neighborhood is good and safe. It's steps from the convention center where I was attending a conference. A free bus will conveniently take you from the...
