We stayed for an extended weekend to celebrate our anniversary. This was our first visit to the Lumber Baron, as well as our first B&B experience. We got into Denver a bit earlier than planned, so we called ahead to see if we could check in early. Luckily, our room was ready & they told us to come on over!...

Beautiful home with a detailed and unique history. The owners were friendly and gave us an amazing tour of the home and told us a lot about the history of the house. They were very accommodating to the needs of our family. I would stay again if traveling to Denver in the future.

One of the main reasons I like to stay at Bed & Breakfast hotels is because they are all unique in style and I love breakfast. I really liked the size and beauty of this old home. The ceilings were all different and beautiful, especially the ball room. Our upstairs room was small. The toilet was in a tiny, almost...

Stayed here while attending a conference downtown. This charming mansion has been restored with an artistic touch. The room was large and well appointed. The owners were friendly and attentive to my needs. Location very convenient to downtown and sports arenas.

We celebrated my husbands 50th birthday. The honeymoon suite was amazing and the house was incredible. So old and so elegant. Joel is incredibly hospitable and took us around the house Shari g with us the history of this incredible mansion. A place worth visiting and staying.

Such a relaxing time at Lumber Baron. Highlands neighborhood is a historic gem and walking through was a visual delight. Innkeeper Joel was warm and welcoming! Bed in the Garden View Room was so comfy and room overlooked the quiet courtyard. Simply Heaven! We will be back soon!

I was here for a concert only. But the building alone is worth the high rating. Definitely a time machine to an era of craftsmanship and artisan architecture. The ballroom on the top floor is incredible.

Awesome Old Home & Great Hosts! Love the old neighborhood, and being among the "locals". Cool little restaurants, and a Starbucks within walking distance. Give them a call an hour or so before you get there, the hosts are great but they are also wearing many hats, so give them a chance to put on there welcome hat.

Son and daughter-In-Law wedding was beautiful! The wedding was in garden, reception in Ballroom. Fun was had by all and it was nice for wedding party and some others to stay overnight in beautiful vintage guest rooms. Owner was on site, very helpful, gracious and careful not to impede on our space or fun, as was his staff. I feel...

My husband and I love to stay at B&Bs and the Lumber Baron did not disappoint on accommodations. This turn of the century home has wonderful architecture inside and out. However, if you are unable to climb stairs, this is not the B&B for you as there are steps to get into the Inn and steps to get to the...
