This has probably been my third time to stay at this hotel and I have never had a problem here. The staff is always very friendly and the rooms are clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

People may find this minor but room 106 has no vanity with mirror. There is a kitchen faucet below the microwave. my husband banged his head on the microwave when he leaned forward to brush his teeth. Ladies be sure to bring your own mirror if you apply makeup and no hair dryer in the room. The room has been...

We attended a wedding in Victor, Colo., the wedding started at 5 and we needed to be there by 4 to help set up. I called ahead to see if we could get into our room by 1, the person at the desk said no problem. We got there at1 and were told NO early check in, we would have...

My last stay was August 27th 2016. The new name will be Gold Rush or Gold Creek Inn. It will have new amenities including microwavable snacks that will be available in the refrigerator and behind the counter. The employees go out of their way to make you feel at home! Joe works early evenings and is willing to make you...

We stayed one night at this hotel to visit the casinos in Cripple Creek because all of the casino hotels were booked and I'm glad we found this place. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The people are nice. It is about a 10 minute walk to the casinos or they will call a free shuttle to take you (the...

I agree nothing fancy but clean, comfortable rooms for a reasonable price. The a/c unit was kinda loud and the pillows were small (I recommend getting extra pillow from front desk or bring your own). The shuttle bus was quick and very friendly.

We stay there almost every time we go to Cripple Creek. It isn't anything fancy but it is clean and the rooms are large. The beds are comfortable. Has a parking garage and has free shuttle service to the casinos which are just a couple blocks away. The manager Joe is very polite and has great customer service.

Spent Friday & Saturday September 20-21, 2014 at hotel, as title states these rooms are basic. The beds, bedding & pillows are clean and comfortable, the room’s water pressure & heating was fine, & front desk along with housekeeping were pleasant & friendly. The reason i rated in 4 instead of 5 was that our room had a peculiar smell.

My wife and I were disappointed in the hotel offerings in Cripple Creek. The casinos have very nice rooms but are a bit on the spendy side, which if you're there mainly for the gambling is probably OK. But while we did enjoy some of the casinos, we were there primarily for the history of this old mountain west mining...

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Disappointed that there were no coffee pots in the rooms. Would really like to see some type of continental breakfast served. Being that that hotel is located several blocks from the action of downtown, it was nice that there was a shuttle service. The front desk attendant would make the call when we were ready...

“The first floor outside rooms are quieter and offer the best view.”

“Ask for a room on the east (garage entrance) side for a very nice view. Try booking through Bronco Billy's Casino for a partially comped room rate. They also offer a 5% AARP discount but the comped rate is much better.”

“Make sure you make your picks in advance. Though the place was pretty much empty, we were "assigned" a room before we arrived. South side has a nice view of the valley.”
