As current bed and breakfast owners, we consider ourselves to be discerning guests. We traveled to the Great Sand Dunes area without reservations and decided to take "pot luck". We stumbled upon The Coll House online while driving - and called to make a reservation for that night. We arrived to find a lovely house almost - but not quite...

My wife and I stayed here visiting my Dad in the Baca. Exceeded all expectations with a charming atmosphere , when the snow is falling you feel as if your living a story book tale. The owner is one of the friendliest , most caring ladies I've ever met.

Beautiful view and great accommodations. Our room was very clean and our host went out of her way to make us comfortable. We had 5 in our party and even with an extra bed in the room, it was roomy. We decided not to get the breakfast but it smelled so good. Would definitely stay again!
