Got a very good rate online for a recent stay at the Grand Lodge in Crested Butte. This hotel is located about 4 miles from downtown CB. Not a problem if you have a car. Off season, there is not much open or going on at the ski resort. but the town is still hopping with many restaurants and shops... More

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 17 September 2016

We attended a conference & this hotel is pet friendly, so we bought our pooch along & had a great stay. The room was comfortably, tastefully furnished & nicely decorated. Our kitchenette had a little refrigerator, microwave, sink & one counter burned which was built-in to the countertop & some dining tableware & cooking items. The view was beautiful, as... More

Room was okay - needs an updating; staff friendly and helpful. Amenities, such as a pool, conference room, etc. were available. Did not spend much time at the Lodge as we have a son and grandkids living on the mountain as well, in a small condo.

The hotel was a little dated but that is Crested Butte. The room was clean and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. It is as nice as others we have stayed at in CB but without the resort fees and parking fee. The restaurant was about par for what you would expect in a lodge. Again nice accommodating waiters.

Room 151 was freezing, but a decent size. The heat in that room barely works, but they did provide a space heater after complaining twice about the lack of heat. Other than that, just a tired hotel, but good.

Overall we loved this lodge. Beautiful area, clean, nice room/suite. Problems were that our room was right next to the elevator so we heard it day and night and it was especially bad on Friday night as many guests were checking in. A room/suite away from the elevator would be ideal. The bathtub also drained very slowly. The temperature in... More

The hotel was dated but everything was in good working order. The staff made up for the hotels age. The front desk staff was friendly and willing to help. Room was clean. Common areas were clean. Management seems to be doing a great job with this hotel.

This was a nice place to stay in Crested Butte. There are a lot of reviews on trip advisor, so I thought I'd just sum up and try to clarify a few things. There is no AC in the hotel. This is very common of most ski town resorts. The temperature in our room was nice. Only one window opens.... More

If you come to CB stay here! This is a very old 80's hotel redone. Its an example of a small area being over run by hoards of entitled selfish unconcious modern people. I liked the views, the staff.. ( famous prople stay in the lux penthouse suites). This is all you need. direct access to ski slope hiking in... More

My first time in Crested Butte and I loved staying at the Grand Lodge. We had the King suite and had more than enough room. There is a murphy bed but we never pulled it down. If you plan to stay more than one night the little kitchen is great for eating breakfast or small lunches.
