This was a great place. First the proprietor Kim was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area that she could be an ambassador or mayor for Crested Butte. She is very active so is doing all of those activities she recommends. Dinner recommendation at Secret Stash pizza was great. We originally booked a king accidentally for my son and I... More

The room was poorly lit and extremely hot at night, despite the temps being in about the low 40s at night. The staff were helpful, but kind of pushy, and they hover over the continental breakfast area like the guests are potential thieves, or already incarcerated. The breakfast room needs a major overhaul, or expansion. It's so small, if one... More

I visited CB in early October for 5 days and stayed at the Nordic Inn in a king bed room facing the mountain. This would be great location for a winter visit as well since you are literally at the base of the mountain. The inn has been nicely renovated. The room I had was good sized with a separate... More

Great little spot with a personal feel that carves a nostalgic niche between the basic motel it used to be, and the larger/more generic resort properties around. Staff are brisk, efficient and friendly. Each of them introduced themselves as we crossed paths and took a moment to chat. The common area breakfast room was cute and cheerful and lobby areas... My friends and I came to the Nordic Inn needing some surprise accommodations. Kim and the staff were absolutely wonderful helping us out! The location was amazing, too--very close to the chairlifts up to the Butte's hiking trail. Thanks again Kim, -Paul

Cute little Inn that has mostly been renovated. It still is an older hotel, as electrical outlets are at a premium in the rooms. Not all parts of the bathrooms have been renovated - they are small but still nice. Our room was quiet with a nice bed and linens. Very relaxing updated lobby. The best part was the friendly... Charming little inn, with rustic look and feel. The staff is excellent and so hopeful. Doesn't have many of the extra amenities you might find at a large resort, but thats also what makes it so charming and sweet.

I liked this place, with one tiny exception, and that involved the age of the building. There are a lack of electrical outlets, which is typical of an old building and really didn't bother me much, as I was travelling alone. Also, the floor squeaked. I could hear the people in the room above me walking, and they weren't stomping,... More

We took a weekend over the pass from our own lovely town of Aspen. We arrived at the Inn with a great welcome by Mel. She was, like all the people working for the owner, Kim, warm, inviting, full of local info and simply a pleasure. We recommend the Nordic Inn for both the locals looking for something different than... More

The Nordic Inn is an older model. Well cared for and the room was very clean and very cute. Keurig coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable and the room price was reasonable. Also has free wi-fi and flat screen TV. Last stop before Jackson Hole. They have a restaurant and cute bar too. You won't be disappointed.
