We loved staying at the Elk Mountain Lodge! We knew we would like it the moment we walked in. The inn has a lot of character and charm and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Additionally, the breakfast (which is included) is delicious and plentiful - and has soy milk, which is important for us because we are vegan....

I would highly recommend a stay at the Elk Mountain Lodge for those looking for a great experience in downtown Crested Butte. The lodge was clean, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous, and the breakfast each morning was a major bonus! My boyfriend and I will definitely be back!

Just finished a week's stay at Elk Mountain Lodge. Mike and his staff were fabulous -warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were at Crested Butte to mountain bike and loved all the insider scoop Mike gave us about trails. His advice was spot on! Lots of other guests were there to hike or enjoy the wildflowers and the staff had super...

Our room was small and simple; clean, great views, third floor. Lindsey at the front desk was so helpful, fun, and informative that she pretty much saved our vacation. We went to all the places she recommended (local restaurant, Black Canyon north rim, Ouray) and each one was way better than the places we had thought about going to instead....

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Elk Mountain Lodge this weekend and we really enjoyed our stay. Great location: two blocks off Elk Street with easy access to everything Crested Butte has to offer. Two blocks to trail access (hiking/biking). They have cruiser bikes available for use if you don't want to walk. Mike and his staff...

We stayed here in the off-season (5/17-18), so this review may not apply to those staying here when the season is in full swing. The room was cozy (read small), but that's not unexpected in a bed & breakfast. The balcony was small too, but big enough for us to sit, sip wine & enjoy the magnificent view of the...

We came to town to visit with family that live in Crested Butte and decided to stay at the Elk Mountain Lodge. It was perfect. The room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfast in the morning was fresh and local and delicious, Mike and his staff made us feel welcome, and the location could not have been better. An easy...

If you're looking for something unique, quaint, memorable, comfortable, and still want exceptional service, quality, and value, search no further and book at the Elk Mountain Lodge. I promise I've not been compensated in any way to make that pitch. My wife and I were one of only two rooms booked during the end of the ski season and we...

My husband and I arrived on a Tuesday for a five day stay at the Lodge. But we are extending our stay due to the wonderful Elk Mountain experience and the great ski conditions. The owner Mike and the Staff especially Brian, Elisa, and the others are welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The atmosphere and location are fantastic!!!...
