The hotel has the feeling of a luxury hunting lodge, with the taxidermy removed. Deep colors, gold ornaments, heavy velvet couches, and dark brown molding. The hotel is in need of some TLC, as there is exposed plumbing everywhere, peeling paint, and outdated amenities. Besides...More
We were there with a, tour group. The hotel is in an area within walking distance to restaurants. The hotel also has several great restaurants as well. Great service and comfortable. Friendly staff. Nice large room.

Thank you for reaching out. We are still in the process of replacing the hot tub. We have removed this amenity from all sites we have control to make changes at a property level. Additionally we have requested Trip Advisor remove this amenity in September when we realized the severity of the damage and are hoping they will complete this soon.

There are grassy areas in front of the hotel. Lots of sketchy people in the park behind the hotel that made me uncomfortable. It's okay to walk 1-2 blocks to the restaurant area. Lots of people walking with dogs.
