We rented Grizzley Cabin but have also stayed in Fireside and Fishhook, both quite similar in floor plan layout (2br/2ba) and cozy ambiance. The kitchens are well-stocked, the beds comfortable and the bathrooms remodeled and very functional. Glen Eden puts you about 8 miles or so from the Steamboat Lake State Park area which in the winter time (our usual...

Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. We love our returning guests, as well as new ones! Everyone should come and enjoy our spectacular playground no matter what season!

We had a cabin near the road but never heard road noise. The cabin seemed very quiet. We had booked a different unit but upon checking in discovered it had been overbooked so we were given a different one. It would have been nice to have been told that upon check in but we found out when we got to...

My family has come here every single summer since 2001 and we've always had a great experience! It's about 20 minutes from downtown Steamboat and about 10 from Steamboat Lake. I love that there's a pool, tennis courts and playground since I come here with about 20 family members for a 4 day stay each year!

Thank you very much. We love our families that come year after year. You ARE the reason we're here! Hope to see you this summer.

These cute cabins are right next to a flowing river. It's a cozy place to stay as a family. Full kitchen with everything you need (except the food of course!), towels, sheets, everything. Very cute and great for kids bc of river, pool, and playground. We had a great stay here.

The cabin we stayed in had a great view of the river, was well stocked, and had a nice stove that kept it warm. We really enjoyed the restaurant. Good food and great service. Our only complaint was that we were told we could snowmobile from the cabins. In reality this was not the case. You can snowmobile 5 miles...

We rented a cabin right on the river. It was very clean, and a good deal for the price. You could hear the river at night, but there was a fence and tall grass between the property and the water, so you didn't have to worry about little kids wandering off and falling in. The views of the surrounding mountains...

First, you aren't going to Glen Eden for nice accommodations. The cabins are average, and do the job, but there's nothing great about them. You go to Glen Eden for the beautiful scenery, peaceful Elk River, and a great property for families. The pool, tennis courts, river, pond, and playground are all great for keeping the kids entertained. Great hiking,...

Our family rented a 2-bedroom cabin along the river. The unit was nicely appointed and had some "stuff to do" like videos, cards, board games, etc. We ended up having dinner on-site at the resort's restaurant, and it was GREAT! This resort is about 25 minutes outside of Steamboat, so it's nice and quiet but also a drive to the...

I have wanted stay at the Glen Eden since 1985 when I owned property down the road. It was only 27 years later that an opportunity arose to take my daughter and her fiancé. It was a last minute booking with a dog over a holiday weekend, but the folks at Glen Eden made it happen. We had a great...

I have stayed at the Glen Eden Resort about 6 times over the last 30 years and always left satisfied with the accommodations. Recently however that is not the case. I took my two daughters, my 82 year old mother and my sister and her husband, here over the weekend of 10/29/11 through 10/30/2011 and this time we were very...

“Choose a condo near the Steamboat ski area. Save the 18 mile drive to Glen Eden and get better accommodations, better service and a better choice of restaurants and activities. In addition, the Routt County Sherriff's office is very active on the road to the resort and the speed limit is unusually low (45 MPH) so the inclination to speed is high. My sister got a speeding ticket on the way and that added to the unpleasant experience.”
