Tired of driving we stopped here. No longer an econo lodge the now privately owned motel is clean but dated. Bathrooms were spotless and beds were comfortable. Rooms while dates were incredibly clean. The price was reasonable. Would stay again

This was a very budget motel and its your only option for 20 miles but it was a decent nights sleep. Everything worked ok but the building and the room is getting rundown. It used to be a Econo Lodge but is now just a local Calhan Inn. The family running the motel is nice and responsive. The only complaint... More

I wasn't expecting such a great, clean, quiet hotel with such friendly staff when I booked what I'm fairly certain is the only hotel for 20 miles for a reunion in Calhan. The property was well maintained, well lit, and the lobby was clean and welcoming. The room was good size, beds were comfortable, bathroom spotless. If you are a... More

This place has seen better days. Things are pretty janky. The minifridge couldnt be opened without the door dragging really bad on the carpet. The mattresses were super old and "dirty" looking. We found hairs in both beds and the sheets didnt look clean, or at a minimum they were old and stained. Continental breakfast consisted of cereal and a... More

We stayed at the Calhan Econo Lodge June 3rd of this year, 2015. We have stayed at this motel nearly every summer for the last ten years, but will never stay here again unless significant improvements are made. The last three years there has been a change in management each year and each year the quality of our stay has... More

Had a funeral near Calhan and made reservations for 2 nights, checked in late at night, within 5 min of being in the room killed 9 COCKROACHES, one was even crawling up my friends back, pulled the covers back on the bed to find another baby cockroach and the sheets looked as though they had never been changed from the... I considered driving to either Limon or Colorado Springs for a room to save 25 dollars. By the time I drove round trip to meet my load it was going to be over an hour extra driving, decided the extra rest time was worth the extra cash. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot, rooms were quiet, and I slept... More

I was deeply disappointed in my stay at this hotel. We often stay in small towns on our travels, and at hotels at exactly this price. My husband called to make a reservation, for my daughter, myself, and our dog. We arrived and checked into our hotel with our dog, parked right in front of the clear glass lobby door,... More

Stayed two nights due to a family reunion in a small town with this being the only hotel. Room appeared to be clean upon arrival, but when my son went to bed the second night there were fresh mouse droppings on his pillow. Needless to say, he did not sleep very well. The management people were nice and friendly, but... More

We made reservations here based on a recommendation of a friend. Arrived quite late at night and went right to bed. The next morning we discovered the shower had the previous occupants soap and shampoo in the holder, and we both had numerous bug bites. My husband had a brown recluse bite in addition to the bedbugs. The smoke detector... More
