First time staying here and I am very happy with it! Roads around the campground are wide and graveled. RV sites are also graveled and level. It was obvious when I arrived that the sites are cleaned and maintained constantly. It would be nice if there was a little more room between sites, but I can't complain, it's better than... More

the owner of that place is all the time around which you can think that is really god, but it is not, the owner's name is JOE and it is a the worse person to run a campground, he is really mean guy specially with kids, and treat people bad like junk, he is a horrible guy, he needs to... More

This is a nice campground that's affordable and clean. The restrooms were very clean. The owner is extremely nice and makes a good cup of coffee in the mornings. We stayed in the yurts and it was all we needed. Wifi was good too. Fire rings, chairs provided. We had nice neighbors. Very quiet and dark at night. Far enough... More

We had a great time at the campsite. We arrived a little later than expected due to the traffic on I-70, but they held our reservation. One tip would be to check on the campsite pad to make sure the tent size fits, we had an 8pp tent and the site was for a small- 2/4person max. We made it... More

We were park of a 16 RV rally. The park is big and typical of a "commercial park". Very nice people running it, level sites, but all gravel sites and roads made for a very dusty environment. It is expensive for what it is. Nice meting facilities for a rally- covered outdoor pavilion.

Pros-pretty view of the mountains Clean restrooms Decent wifi Cons-very dusty campground (everything was covered in dust and dirt all week!) Not family friendly they seemed like they catered to the older Rv crowd Small playground with hard gritty sand in both the playground and volleyball court No water access-they have a creek that runs all through the grounds but... We just visited this camp site . We got up in a Saturday and decided we wanted to get away for the weekend so we called arrowhead camp site and expressed interest in either a cabin or yurt and they had a yurt available with pet friendly option. We have 2 dogs and so we booked it for the night.... More

My husband and I stayed at one of the Private Campsites at Arrowhead Point Campgrounds over the 4th of July weekend. After discovering that quite literally every State and Forest Service campsite that could be reserved ahead of time (in May!) in the Buena Vista/Salida/Collegiate Peaks vicinity was already reserved, we started looking for alternatives. We were definitely apprehensive about... More

My boyfriend and I just returned from a long weekend staying in a yurt. Let me start by saying this was such an incredible experience! We had never been to Buena Vista, but we only live a few hours away. The owner was polite and helpful right off the bat as we checked in. The yurt was quaint and comfortable... More

We picked this place because it had a few more amenities than other places we looked at in the area. They had their tent sites away from the RV sites up a big hill so you still felt like you were camping and not in an RV park. The RV park looked nice too with some cabins and yurts in... More
