This is a wonderful historic property in downtown just a block away from the Pearl Street pedestrian mall and many shops and restaurants. The hotel has valet parking, a small gift shop, and a restaurant. There is a passageway connecting the old and new parts of the hotel. Rooms in the new part are small but functional. The lobby features...

...or at least that is what you expect when you enter the Boulderado. They tried successfully to preserve atmosphere and furnishings of a time that was. Even the elevator is at least 100 years old! The rooms are the ones where you would expect the "chanteuse" of those times ready to grant you her favors before the next assault at...

Thoroughly enjoyed the Boulderado. Rustic Beauty and a great location a block from all the diversity of the Pearl Street Mall. I especially enjoy the banter with the Valet guys out front as well as the Front Desk folks. Rooms are a bit small as one might expect in such a historic building but beautifully decorated. And certainly plan to...

We arrived late at Denver and decided to drive the 30 minutes to Boulder..much nicer. The Boulderado was easy to find and well placed with easy access to great restaurants and bars in surrounding 2 blocks. Parking was US $10 a night The hotel has new wings although old world charm is replicated in the new sections. Rooms facing west...

All they show you on the website is the historic Hotel Boulderado and not the newer North end. I booked this hotel for my parents 30th wedding anniversary present based on the photo of the king room on there website. The got a room in the North wing which is just a step up from a Courtyard Hotel. I would...

Hello Matthew- Thanks so much for choosing the Boulderado for your parents anniversary! I am sorry to hear about your disappointment with being in our North Wing. We do have our historic side, but due to increasing popularity we did expand our hotel. At any time you want to stay in the historic part of the hotel, please let your...

There is only one word regarding this hotel: Wonderful. It's an old hotel but renovated to be very modern. The service is perfect, the restaurant very good. Everything has "a style" and breathing an old era in this town. Something negative? Perhaps the price. It's a more expensive than other hotels in Boulder so it's up to the guest if...

If you're looking for an authentic Old Colorado atmosphere, this is the place. A landmark establishment that was founded in 1909, the hotel feels like.... Well, not anything but - it's more like stepping into a time machine, where you brought the best of today's service standards and dining back with you. The moment you walk in, you are greeted...

We stayed here for a family wedding and it was perfect for the occasion. The rooms were large, quiet and clean. Some had views directly towards the mountains and ours had a nice private balcony and also a skylight. There was also a sitting area, desk and large stand-up mirror in the room. The lobby is very impressive with its...

Room and hotel decor is worn down. Even for a traditional and historic hotel, they could replace couches and carpets so that they are not dusty and stained. Service is friendly. But really high prices and so it's a thumbs down.

To start on a positive note, the valet parking staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. The hotel is in a really good location. The service we received at check in was indifferent, no greeting, no conversation, just given the keys and told that we would have to get someone's attention to be able to use the lift. The room...

“There's a historic section and a "new" section. I tried to stay on the historic side, but I had just walked in off the street and it was booked. But if you can get the king corner room on the new side, you have a 180 degree view of the mountains. Amazing.”
