The positives - friendly, welcoming and helpful staff; proximity to Boulder canyon path and a beautiful Place to walk/jog/bike; very nice breakfast. The negatives - although the first floor is rustic and inviting and there is a lovely screened in porch on the second floor ( this lodging Is reminiscent of an old cabin or inn) and your room Is... I appreciate the family initially put into the property and their vision. Today, they are sadly on there way out... They are selling the property and the neglected construction shows that (but the new owners will see the intrinsic value as I do). I enjoyed our sweet with the stand alone tub, lighting, fireplace, etc Service help seemed queless (so... More

Our room was quite nice, although we were warned the room key had to be "jiggled" to work, and jiggle we did many times. The inn itself is in need of some repair. What we found 'interesting' was that our inn keeper never appeared. The two ladies who worked the front desk and served breakfast were the only staff to... More

this inn is at the cusp of greatness. It is on the market and I have no doubt it will be awesome in its future. Even now it was an absolute delight to stay there. Our room as many do had a door to an outdoor patio on the back hillside. We opened to door to the room and the... More

Rooms and decor are rustic but very lovely. Was more than what we expected and we really enjoyed our stay. Quick drive out of town, beautiful inn and location. Breakfast was good and served by very nice staff; overall all staff were very nice and helpful. Would recommend this hotel and will visit again!

Older inn that needs to be refurbished. Back patio overlooked a maintenance storage area. Bed was comfortable and staff were great, but the rest just doesn't hold up. Great location not far from downtown, but difficult driveway to get into. breakfast was good.

We only stayed one night, but had a great experience! Yes, it's rustic, definitely nothing fancy, so if that's what you're looking for, go elsewhere. Cookies/tea/coffee are waiting at the reception area when you check in. They upgraded us to a jacuzzi tub room, and although the jets were pretty loud, they worked well and it was relaxing, watching the... More

This Bed and Breakfast was so quaint and cozy! Everyone who worked here was so kind and caring. They really make you feel comfortable and welcome. And the food was amazing! I highly recommend staying here if you travel this way.

Really enjoyed this place, it is beautiful and in a perfect location 6 minutes outside of downtown boulder tucked in the mountains! The style is wonderful- like a large cabin with lots of fireplaces and you are welcomed with cookies, tea/hot cocoa/coffee/water. It is secured behind a locked door which is great but just realize you need to get "buzzed"... More

Stayed for a long weekend during the prime golden Aspen season. Was greeted warmly by the staff and even the owners. Surely the owners had a million things that they could have been doing but they took the time to visit and to get to know us. They recommended that we drive up the canyon to look at the Aspen...
