About

Travellers' Choice
Nestled around the Laguna paperbark trees and giant scribbly gums, Sanctuary by Sirromet lets you escape the everyday and connect with nature. Each tented pavilion includes a private ensuite and balcony which appears to “float” above the landscape, giving guests a “tree house” impression as they gaze across the tree canopy and over the lake. Conveniently located on the grounds of Sirromet Winery, indulge your senses and dine on fresh, seasonal produce from one of the three restaurants or uncover the world of wine whilst you go behind the scenes of a working winery, followed by a tasting of Sirromet’s award-winning Granite Belt wines. The 560 acre property captures amazing views across Moreton Bay and sits in the heart of South East Queensland and is home to a large population of wallabies who graze freely around and under the decks as guests take in the views with a glass of wine as the sun goes down.

Lovely secluded, private and well-appointed "pavilions" (glamping)... A short walk to the winery and restaurant, where the food was excellent. A high point was the standard of service and the staff attitudes, presentation and efficiency. Recruitment and training seem to be priorities and it pays off - everyone we met was positive and helpful. We will go back - a really great break..!

The tent was very good. Well set out with good ensuite and great king bed. Good lounge seats inside and table & chairs on balcony although they were affected by rain & dew. Continental breakfast was quite good as was having a microwave and coffee maker. WIFI worked well. Great to see the native animals and trees. Lovely outlook through the trees to the lagoon. No TV so was great to spend time with friends. Quite peaceful. Great environment to celebrate a birthday. Another experience ticked off the bucket list.

My son got married here on Friday and the wedding was magical. The Barrel room was just beautiful. We stayed overnight in a premium pavilion and it was perfect. Every need-catered for and woke to bird song. Went onto the deck for coffee and so many wallaby’s just below us. This is a must visit venue if you want to escape and find peace.

Our glamping experience was pure heaven. Over the two days we tasted the quality Sirromet wines followed by cheese platter. Lunch was at the Tuscan Terrace which the staff were not only efficient but had great knowledge of matching wines with their gourmet meals. I would like to thank Maryanne at the Reception who made sure everything ran smoothly. Professional care was taken to ensure the beautiful environment was clean and well managed.

I can highly recommend spending time in a premium pavilion. Your every need is taken care of. Quality products are supplied. We had breakfast baskets delivered and it was delicious. We also had dinner at the restaurant and can recommend it. We loved waking up in the mornings to see the kangaroos feeding outside our pavilion. We even spotted a koala on the way out.
